Fallout 4 Pip Boy Edition

isnt it a digital copy for XB1 version? either a code in the box... or it unlocks on the console... but i dont know if its even out yet? i thought the Fallout 3 backwards compatibility wasnt available until the new update?
 
Another frustrated Amazon customer here. The Amazon tracking still says arriving by 8 PM, but the latest shipping update through their site is that my game left Amazon's warehouse at 10 PM last night. There is no check in to or departure from any UPS facility, and UPS tracking has nothing other than Amazon creating the shipping label. I called UPS to ask where the package was coming from (they told me VA I'm in MD), and they literally had no other info for me. The UPS guy already dropped by to deliver a completely different package with no Fallout in sight.

I have not changed any information with shipping address or billing method and this is a five month old pre-order. What the he'll are they doing over there? The only solace I get is in seeing that a weight has been registered so I know some type of package is supposedly en route. Absolutely disgusted.
 
I pushed that clear button on the top of it and it went in and never came out. No idea if that's how it's supposed to be, but on the stand it goes. Bit disappoonted with the huild quality, but it looks nice on the stand on my shelf.

Well, Amazon just shipped mine, should be in tomorrow. Not thrilled about how this went. Anyone here having success in getting them to throw you a bone for the trouble? I'm debating calling, but don't want to waste the time if they can't do anything.
 
Mine was shipped to my house this afternoon! Hopefully it's not the flimsy piece of plastic crap I've been hearing it is.

Maybe I'll just keep it in the box.
 
So my Steelbook for the PC edition came unwrapped, even though Ive seen pics of the case coming wrapped. Anybody else? Don't think I got an open product since the code worked fine, but who knows.
 
I had a pre-order in, but my wife lost her credit card a month ago and we canceled the card. Just found out today that they cancelled my order when the card didn't go through... Thats the problem with a 5 month lead time on a pre-order.
 
So the case that the pip boy is enclosed in doesn't shut all the way on one side and keeps popping open. Really annoying.

Is there a way to get a new one or do I just have to deal with it. I may end up returning it since it was a dumb purchase anyways.
 
Yikes! Mine hasn't shipped yet. I didn't do 2 day shipping or anything but I figured it would at least ship on launch day. "Expected to Arrive Nov 16th - Nov 20th". I hope my order doesn't get canceled.

Ha! I did the same thing (the top light that lights up?).
 
I live in SoCal and apparently there was a delay and I may have to wait until the next business day to get my game. Is veteran's day a business day? :(
 
Just read through the thread and yeah, that button in the back got stuck for me too.

Seems pretty easy to take it apart but that shouldn't be allowed to push in like that. Otherwise I think the pip boy is pretty cool.

Mine came today! Too bad I'm at work to play though. Even bought that cheap phone at Best Buy because my phone is like two inches too long for the insert.

Hey, me too! I got two of them, and one was basically completely fucked. The case doesn't close (broken snap), the foam was ripped and scrunched, that same button was pushed in, and some of the plastic was bent.

I think a dumb plastic pip-boy that lights up and a steel case is worth $60 extra. I like Fallout that much. This... is inexcusable. REALLY disappointed with the quality of this item.

My PS4 version came unwrapped.

Black "button" on the top is jammed in. I can hear rattling going on inside the thing. Foam is pulling apart too.

My G2 can fit it, not sure about the size difference between the two though.
 
Just got a text message from Amazon saying that my Pip-Boy edition that I was expecting today had shipped and should arrive tomorrow by 8pm. I'm a little confused because I had 1-day shipping and paid an extra $7 for it.
 
7:42 and no delivery from Amazon despite calling them today who verified through the carrier it would be here today...

Time to make another phone call I guess. :/

Talk to Amazon about it, I'm sure they'll refund the $7.
 
Mine looks and feels fine but I don't need it - I'm considering flipping it to cover the cost of my steelbook. The steelbook is sweet tho.
 
So my order went to UPS. Expected delivery date is tomorrow.

It's been sitting at "Order Processed: Ready for UPS" since 11 AM.

Hopefully it actually ships...
 
The LG Optimus Exceed 2 fits well. None of the inserts were an exact fit but I just had to add an extra little piece of foam on the right side to keep it from sliding around. I love the instruction manual. Makes up for the lack of a real one with the game.

That really sucks. I just had a little corner of the foam sticking up that I was able to tape down. If they can't be replaced I hope it's fixable for you.
 
So that black "button" at the top isn't a button. Don't press it. And don't unscrew it trying to fix it. It's way too easy to strip the screw hole.
 
Am I really fat, or this thing only fits on skinny people?

I weight a bit over 200 and a lot less than 250 lbs so I don't think I'm THAT fat.

How the hell this thing doesn't fit in my arm? Luckily it holds my unknown cell phone nicely.

Anyway the upshot of it all is a bloke called Chris is currently meandering around this fair city with my parcel. I am apparently delivery 58 and he is on delivery 34. My parcel is approximately 1hr 15mins away from delivery and about the only thing I do not know is the colour of the underwear Chris is wearing.

I still won't be able to play it till after 8pm tonight though cos I will have to download a crapload of data and I am capped between 8am and 8pm.

Fucking Amazon. Yup no Fallout for me today apparently.

After bouncing around between 3 reps I'm told to wait 24-48 hours or go out and buy the pip boy edition somewhere else and return theirs for a refund. Oh and a fucking $10 promotional credit for my troubles.
