I think the rise of trophies and achievements has actually reduced creativity on the part of players. Few feel compelled to mess around on their own or come up with their own wacky goals to as great an extent when they can be gunning for specific achievements. Another reason I'm not a fan of them.

Anyways, has anything been said about whether Fallout 3 mods will be compatible with New Vegas? I like the way my character from Fallout 3 looks and her appearance cannot be recreated without mods.

Yeah I built myself an incredible top of the line PC back in March (first I ever built), and ever since then I've been keeping my PC up to date.
My PC can play Crysis at all max settings with a damn good framerate and everything :lol

I would also look into some games that you maybe never otherwise would that can be performance-intensive, like the ArmA 2 games. Some good stuff there if you haven't checked them out.
Also: go get Amnesia. It's only $20 and it will terrify you. That goes for the rest of you in this thread. People need to buy that game.

Why not get another 5870 and run them in Crossfire? My brother's older 5870 died and he need a card in the meantime for New Vegas so I got him... a 5870. Now we're getting a newer, better cooled replacement and that's exactly what he'll be doing. Crossfired 5870s running New Vegas should be ridiculous. It's good if you want your horror games to be actual horror games.
Or to be more precise, survival horror. Amnesia is probably the truest survival horror game that there's ever been, or at least, that I've played.
There's a demo, by the way. I didn't bother checking it out before buying the game but it's apparently decently lengthy and gives a solid impression.
Also: play it with headphones in the dark for proper effect.
