Fallout - Season 2 trailer

Do Want Give It To Me GIF

I saw in some stage show that had the Rockettes in fallout costumes doing a routine. Amusing intro for the show.

Simply the greatest live action adaptation of a game. This will reach kino levels never thought possible.

They are not killing their minority cast member.

Nor the (absolutely unneeded) trans character.

She/him/they/whatever the fook served absolutely no purpose whatsoever, they could have cast...whatever guy/gal of whatever ethnicity but no, they had to go there for them internet cookie points.

I mean, it's Amazon, it's not like I was expecting anything different and especially so after the trainwreck of the LOTR series, bah...

Really good show but the quality of that teaser was trash, what was that, a 360p fullscreen reupload?

Did a search for the show and found this thread. I just caught up to the latest ep from last night (#4) and am mostly loving it. I was reading complaints about S2 being a bit too goofy and not serious enough and can kinda see that but I think it's gotten better. Last nigh's ep was great. The flashback to the war, Lucy tripping out, the you know what at the end, good stuff. I'm a little confused about the Vault hierarchy with 31, 32, and 33. Kinda forgot what happened there but whatever.

It's difficult to pull off because that's exactly the feeling of 3, 4, and New Vegas. One minute you're running from a deathclaw or supermutant for dear life, the next minute you run into some odd person with a weird dialogue option tree, and the next minute those two might have a goofy-looking fight right in front of you.

I think they're mostly nailing it. I also think that they are showing us 3 different types of protagonist archetypes very well:
  • Lucy - First playthrough paragon/good naive player
  • The Ghoul - Second playthrough renegade player
  • Maximus - Fun/Odd build playthrough, like 1 stat-only (in his case the luck stat)

I didn't think I'd like the show but I have found enjoyment in it. Lucy is quite a good protag and different to the slay queen BS of stuff in recent years.

Max I find mostly whatever or boring, though it's a bit better in S2. Not sure I really like the actor.

The goofy stuff in S2, im guessing relating to Hank? I don't mind it, it seems quite normal from elements of the game. Quirky.

Steph is a psycho hottie.

Although I want to see less Overseer and Brotherhood leadership/politic stuff, I do want to see more of Lucy's brother. Think there's some potential there.

Also would like Lucy to know about Cooper sooner rather than later, fully. Feels like it's slightly dragging.

Some of the ghoul makeup is... not great.

Overall, worth a watch.

The Luck stat is very powerful by itself.

Is it me or is this season getting almost no buzz online.
Seems like the final season of Stranger Things took over all the TV conversations, even if it was mostly people hating on it (or at least that "coming out" scene)

I was hoping the ghoul might come across James Marsden as Boone when he went looking for the NCR.
I know I'm asking for too much 😊

If this season of Fallout, has any big stumbles it will be the next target.

For now, the ones who are mainly watching it are the ones actually enjoying it.

how many more episodes are there this season? had not watch any of this season yet and planning on binging it all together once the season's finished.
