It's difficult to pull off because that's exactly the feeling of 3, 4, and New Vegas. One minute you're running from a deathclaw or supermutant for dear life, the next minute you run into some odd person with a weird dialogue option tree, and the next minute those two might have a goofy-looking fight right in front of you.I was reading complaints about S2 being a bit too goofy and not serious enough and can kinda see that but I think it's gotten better.
The Luck stat is very powerful by itself. It's difficult to pull off because that's exactly the feeling of 3, 4, and New Vegas. I think they're mostly nailing it. I also think that they are showing us 3 different types of protagonist archetypes very well:
- Lucy - First playthrough paragon/good naive player
- The Ghoul - Second playthrough renegade player
- Maximus - Fun/Odd build playthrough, like 1 stat-only (in his case the luck stat)
