Fallout | Season 2 trailer

Meh... I tried to watch the first episode with my wife (who isn't a gamer and knew nothing of Fallout) and something seemed off about it. The whole scenario of the people knowing the vault was there and faking being other vault dwellers was kind of unbelievable. They were raiders, how did they get the vault 32 outfits and have them cleaned to be believable. How did they find vault 33, and how the hell did they have the patience to plan and think up any of that. That's not something raiders would have the smarts to do,. Also that they couldn't see that coming was weird too. Maybe something like that works for a game, but for a real life style tv show, I was seeing right through it. To me it all seemed so predictable

I had to explain over and over again what was actually happening. both the writing and acting felt quite contrived and lacking in direction. Nothing felt explained much. Something wasn't clicking for me on believability or acting chops.
Maybe it gets better after episode 1, don't know, but didn't stick around to find out.

No…BETHESDA and their terrible fucking writing team retconned established lore. And the Tv show which I reiterate is also canon does the exact same thing.
So no that argument is horse shit, its not 'just about the setting, factions, weapons, enemies and Easter eggs' wtf kind of reasoning is that? Setting - Supposed to be POST-Nuclear ie when society is rebuilding ala Fallout 1-2, Bethesda and the show dont get this. Factions - LMFAO, yeah again Bethesda dont understand any of them. Weapons - No, just no, the show barely did anything at all with them. Enemies - The only one they did well was a Bethesda made one with the Gulper. Easter Eggs - No….
Dont spew the nonsense argument that the series and such was inconsistent, Bethesda made it that way, and the shit writing of the show only compounds this.
Ugh…
Hasn't one of the key things about fallout, from the start, been an unreliable narrator and setting?
yay breaking more lore ...

What specifically did they break?

I loved this trailer i have to admit, the screen in the Lucky 38 with House, Caesar's Legion, Victor and the Deathclaw looked great, i still think BGS is changing New Vegas on purpose in the background, and where is a new damn game, which should be shown at a game showcase instead of a tv series, but i'm def watching the show lol.
We will get some history on New Vegas.

Anyone watching season 2? Seems like ZERO buzz about it. What happened? Lost in the shuffle, really bad, or a gem that slipped by?

Oh, I"m an idiot, it hasn't released yet :P The way Amazon shows "two seasons" on the splash page made me think it dropped a month or 2 ago.

Come on, it's not like anyone cares about NCR.

On topic: looks great, I have very positive memories of Season 1, that's what made me actually finish Fallout 4.
NCR just want to speed run back to late-stage capitalism. Easily the "bad guys" in a sick and twisted Twilight Zone style ending. Being stuck in a non stop loop of pure hell. We know what's at the end of that road. Hail Caesar.

I am, i'm looking forward far more to S2 than 1, being a big New Vegas fan, going by the trailer they have shown so far anyway, i hope the content is as good.
