The A-ha video was classic. Neverending Story gag was so-so. Lois getting the shit beat out of her was hilarious.

Tie Fighters? WTF? :lol

Each episode is getting more and more random and out there.

Thats what I love about it. It so damn unexpected... You never know whats coming next....

I don't know whats up with stewie this season, seems like they are taking him in a new direction (maybe his movie will explain more?)

Some of the stuff flew by me like Chris and the weird animation, the kids in the sewer, and that guy who ate a rat.

You don't know much about the 80s do you?
I loved all those bits. :lol

It was just like every other episode this season. A few really funny jokes, a few good ones, a few WAY too fucking obscure, and a few that just aren't good. And the episodes just don't have charm anymore.

This is the second best episode of the new season, second only to the episode one.

The Quagmire bits were classic :lol :lol

Family Guy has officially jumped the shark.

Exactly.

Heh, i guess im not only one. a lot of my friends find the show still funny but i laugh maybe twice a episode

Someone needs to tell Seth McFarlane that Family Guy is best when it sticks to one CONSISTENT down-to-earth plotline.

This one went from Lois shoplifting, to Joe and Brian suspecting her, to her going to prison, to the family being fugitives, and then living in "Asiantown".

I mean, come on.

Yeah the new season has been underwhelming so far with a few exceptions...tonight being one of those exceptions.

Seriously, some of the best episodes did this, like the classic Death episode, Stewie stopping Lois and Peter from getting pregnant, Episode all about beer (Wasted Talent), etc. This reminds me so damn much of The Simpsons when they lost it. Still had lots of people clinging on to it, calling it better than ever while one by one the fans eventually fell off. It's still got some senile crowd from somewhere though.

Those episodes were way more charming than these new ones because they're all pretty down-to-earth with their changes in the story.

Tonight's episode started with Lois shoplifting to Joe chasing the family with a helicopter in the sewers.

I actually thought that was awesome.

:lol :lol :lol That take on me part was about the funniest thing ive seen in a while. Someone has to get a clip of that!

That video was just golden and so was this whole episode! Still, it would have been so much more fitting if Chris and that dude couldn't escape and got beaten up by the wrench dudes. I was actually expecting that, kind of a letdown for what you can normally expect from Family Guy.

Oh, and who was that Peter was doing cocaine with again? I missed it, that part had me in stitches I was laughing so hard. :lol

Yeah, it reminds me of The Simpsons too. Combining lots of outlandish stories into one crazy plot just so they can fill 22 minutes.

I've actually stopped watching the new Family Guys. I'd rather watch Six Feet Under. I doubt I'll remember to check them out later on Adult Swim either. That's not to say these new ones are horrible, but I am enjoying them less and I'm not very motivated to watch.

The Quaqmire bits were funny, and a few other things, but the pop culture references are getting too random it seems. The TIE fighters and Goonies appearences seemed to be nothing more than "Hey look, it's the Goonies!" and weren't funny at all.

Oh, and shouldn't Stweie be the one dressing up, rather than Brian?

I loved it when stewie was dragging around that diaper loaded with shit, bitching that he couldnt eat till someone fed him haha.

Family guy is just fucking brilliant.

Wow, that episode was awesome, although I'm afraid that he is just taking a lot of cheap shots with things like the Tie Fighters and the Goonies.

The A-Ha clip was hilarious though, as was the Quagmire part.

You live in a strange little world.

(And saying that, with a 24 avatar, after the past season? Wow.)

Anyway, stop trying to find things to bitch about people. If you didn't get the references, you need to check out some stuff. :P

Yeah that Star Wars reference with the tie fighters was a DIRTY CHEAP SHOT

Shame on you Seth McFarlane with your cheap shots >: (

For the few of us that do get all these obscure pop culture references (me and my circle of firends) these are hilarious. Now for everyone else, you get mostly blank stares, as they don't get the joke.

I know it's a bit of a stretch but it's almost Monthy Python-like in that respect. It's made for the few people who will get it, it's not for everyone.

It's silly and sometimes does go into the random and bad taste tangents, but damn is it funny.
