Oh come on, how can Battle Network SIX outscore Sonic Rush! :lol

Oh well. The series has remained as good(and boring) as it has since the first Battle Network.

When does Puyo Pop Fever 2 DS come out? Delayed from the PSP and PS2 versions, or is it already out?

When's Famitsu gonna review the 360 lineup?

neo2046, may i ask a question?

I heard a rumor on another board which says Famitsu claimed that FFXII is ... delayed again and now the release date becomes TBA... is that true?

thank you and if true... NOOOOOOooooooo...

Wasn´t Famitsu supposed to have some info on WEDS in the next weeks? being the next weeks the ones coming after mid-october... it´s been a whole month eversince.

Christ, if that's the case then good luck seeing FFXIII before the PS4 launches. :lol

Guy that leaks fami info on japanese boards mentioned something like that in rather cryptic way.

Oh yeah Ikusami is not complete shite, guess I might get it then.

The Xbox 360 will be released there in 4 weeks. So I'd say they will review the games in 3 weeks for Famitsu Weekly. Famitsu Xbox 360 will have some reviews in 2 weeks.

Ok, i've also found the japanese info on the delay:

"超人気RPGが告知されていた時期よりさらに延期"

i know very little japanese and i guess it means:

"one of (squareenix's) highly anticipated RPG was announced to be delayed..."

so it could be FFXII (NOOOOooo....) or KHII (NOOOOoooooo....)?

It's not KH2. The quote implies that an extremely huge/popular game that's already been heavily delayed will be delayed even further.

Nothing else could match that description beyond FFXII.

Hmm, can we now officially say Square is worse than Rare as far as high profile game delays are concerned? Feels like I've been waiting a decade for FFXII.

Nothing can beat Rare, NOTHING. Perhaps the only serious contender is Silicon Knights.

If that guy is legit than yeah, it's gotta be FFXII.

:\
his credit is high because almost all the prime Famitsu news every week is from this guy
and yes, it seems to be FF12 will be delayed again

OK some good news here
if I am right, Sakurai mentions that he has involved and already started the Smash Bros for Revolution
He will be the director and designer

Well FFXII is an exception, Square usually doesn't delay games like this.

KHII? Then there's always FFVII:AC, not necessarily a game, but still a high profile project.

Oh boy, that revoew score is just like lighting the Amitr0n signal for him to bitch about how much he thinks Animal Crossing sucks ass.

oh no...

seriously, WTF is wrong with SE??? they have made me wait half a decade for FFXII. and they just recently announced a japan release date and threw out a playable demo... now, they are going to delay it again????!!!!11!1!11 what happened???? the whole FFXII team just left SE?

So Sakurai is in charge of the new SB? Woah, that´s really good news!

I dunno, there's always Duke Nukem Forever. :lol
Never a name was so fitting :lol

I figure KHII would be the one that's delayed since it's supposed to be out in a month and there's still no firm release date.

If it's FFXII, then ; ;

there's still the demo...

That's what I'm thinking. May 2006 ftw.

Actually, it's not much of a "win", more of an enormous clusterfuck, but FFXII having PS3-specific "enhancements" would be nice. :lol

12/22/05 for 7800yen :)

And regarding the demo...well once you guys play the demo it'll make sense. The demo is a joke and feels like it has nothing to do with the actual game. It gives absolutely zero re-assurance that the project is moving along. The demo rather gives the impression that SE doesn't know wtf to do with FFXII when they made the demo.

Back in E3 '04 they knew exactly what they wanted to do with FFXII and the playable demo with tons of story and gameplay areas, towns, etc... showed that. It was a game on its way towards completion and eventual release.

But then everything went insane and with the demo from the SE show + this delay, it seems liek they really have no clue what they want to do with FFXII.

Believe! ;_;

I hadn't thought of them doing that, but yah that'd be big for both the PS3 and FFXII. Doing that would make the delay easier to understand.

Not if you go by what a lot of people have said. There's probably a good reason to why the early trailers were so filled with concept art.

:lol

Anyway, this FFXII info is in the rumour section of Famitsu, and it doesn't mention any RPG by name. It might not even be true. If SE knew the PS3 release date (which they don't) why on earth would they try to release FFXII on the same day!? What good would that do the game - kill off anticipation even more by having it raped by a new hardware launch?

Also, if this is true and relates to FFXII, we'll find out soon because their interim results are coming up and they'll have to adjust their earnings estimates.

No game is going to kill a systems hype or vice versa, especially when you're going to be able to play that game on that system. FFXII's going to sell in large piles no matter when its release or whatever its released near.

So WHY would they delay it to release it on the same day as PS3!?

I'm not saying release it on the exact day, but it couldn't hurt to release it around the systems launch. With as much as its delayed now its probably going to do that anyway. In the US atleast, didn't FFIX launch a week after the PS2?
