Hard Corp Uprising is a fantastic game that everyone who likes 2D Contra and Metal Slug should play.

Never understood why there kept the Contra name out of the title on this one.

Btw, do the classic code during the loading screen for the first level for a nice throwback.

I remember buying this game around launch on XBOX awhile back. Yes, it is an excellent game imo. Definitely recommended.

Good game. I'd also recommend people check out Blazing Chrome. Best Contra-like game since Contra 4.

Bought it years ago on the 360 and was super excited when it was made backwards compatible on the One/Series systems. It's amazing!

Grab that game ASAP. Its great. I wish Contra Rebirth and the PS2 era games were re released as well. Konami should release a volume 2 of the Contra collection.

It is hard! But the secret is to play the non-arcade mode (story mode?). In non-arcade mode you get to continuously upgrade your character (health, weapons etc) and those upgrades are carried over into new games. Athough you still have to die a lot, the game get progressively easier as your skills and stats increase.
