It was added in patch? Lol I thought it came with my rank promotion
no, you can switch anytime you want once you unlock a lifeHi. I just started playing it. Does it matter which Life I choose first?
The fantasy life twitter account had a few. Think 4 have been officially released so far.If I may ask...where or how do we acquire codes for Gifts?

Like others after 38 hours I'm now in the post game there's a substantial chunk of stuff to do. Currently grinding the treasure groves for shadow monsters to get those tablets, have a lot of top tier recipes but nowhere near able to make them yet as they need some really hard to get items as I'm still too low level on a lot of my lives.
There's some weird mounts I have already found a recipe for what looks like an odd motorbike but once again missing one item to complete the recipe.
Not in a rush to max everything just yet I want to slowly savour it, did discover you can eventually add effects to the items you craft with appliqué patches. If you do it right with a certain patch you can add a 20% drop rate to all 5 equipable items in a set meaning you get a 100% guaranteed drop rate for monster rare mats dropping when you are wearing the full set. So much content has been worked into the game that it's going to last a long time, hoping that dlc adds new areas and stories will gladly pay to expand the world even more.
Nice, will give that a try as that's one of the lives that is taking a while to level. Need to find a good w\y to level tailor & alchemist too as those are not so easy to level up fully intend to makx it all out though like i did with 3DS version it was fun to totally god rank all the lives. If you want to level up Carpenter I found a cheese for it -- Forest Fence. It only takes 2 Palm Logs to make but each one gives somewhere around 1,000 XP -- the first time I made a bunch cause I just wanted to make a fence for my house and my carpenter leveled up like ten levels.
I played earlier and did some leveling of my Alchemy. I found going to the tool shops in the various places and buying the alchemy recipes helped me to have different things to level with rather than just potions and powders that require the same plants.Nice, will give that a try as that's one of the lives that is taking a while to level. I finished the main campaign. It is rare for me to actually finish a JRPG. I usually get about 60% through a JRPG, but then run out of steam after the initial appeal wears off, and the repetitiveness of the game play mechanics becomes pronounced.
This game heavily encourage you to engage in post-game content, for which there appears to be lots to do. I may take a break from it and come back.
I enjoyed my time with this game from start to finish. It never did get stale.
In drakesnout region in ginormosia around the bottom left of the coast near where a nostril would be of the dragon there is a cave called nostruul cave, inside it's full of mimmicks if you level up the area via the tower and then go in & clean out the cave you will end up with a ton of loot that you can sell for a literal fortune due to that cave im already over 2 million and if you go in at higher area levels you can get the mimmicks dropping the white chests that have an item at legendary quality so it's really powerful. To respawn everything just use the door in the options menu to warp out & back in or just leave the cave. Levelling up strangelings is dead easy too you can take a level one in and in a few mins they are already at level 60 it's a really fast way to level up assuming you main char is strong enough to deal with the harder levels like level 70 onwards.Deep into post game. Spending a crazy amount of time crafting the low end "crafted item stickers" and using the max qty to doshi feature to build up enough funds to buy all the purchasable recipes.
you can't get gifts on Switch 2 unless you have Nintendo Online? Why?Here's some codes for some free stuff that they released during the launch, the codes should work on any version regardless of region as they worked fine on my Japanese copy.

Can you pop the gate to back to your island then just use the gate to go back to the same room and re-pop the mimics? In drakesnout region in ginormosia around the bottom left of the coast near where a nostril would be of the dragon there is a cave called nostruul cave, inside it's full of mimmicks if you level up the area via the tower and then go in & clean out the cave you will end up with a ton of loot that you can sell for a literal fortune due to that cave im already over 2 million and if you go in at higher area levels you can get the mimmicks dropping the white chests that have an item at legendary quality so it's really powerful. yup the gate works too so when you reach the end of the cave use the door then go back in to reset all the monsters in the cave then make your way back to entrance then rinse & repeat. There's also a pandoras box mimmick in the cave too so you can get it's drops. The cave only has a few rooms so it's worth going through it all as there's mimmicks in all the rooms with a group of 3 near the end of the cave you'll see what i mean if you go explore. Can you pop the gate to back to your island then just use the gate to go back to the same room and re-pop the mimics?
Sweet tip, tyty
that i didnt know, it connects to internet to get the gifts but as i already have online sub i guess it didnt flag up. Well thats pretty shit theres zero reason you should need a sub, i mean yeah playing multiplayer fair enough but not redeeming a free code.you can't get gifts on Switch 2 unless you have Nintendo Online? Why?
if you craft say 10 items at once do you get 10 times the EXP or need to make each 1 at a time to level the job?
Also never auto craft as you won't get exp.if you craft say 10 items at once do you get 10 times the EXP or need to make each 1 at a time to level the job?
Yes it will multiply XP
Also never auto craft as you won't get exp.
Yeah, the Switch 2 update is tiny whatever it even was.Yeah. I am tempted to get it on Switch 2 because this seems like a comfy game to play in bed.
I am kind of confused on the releases. It sound like you have to get the Deluxe edition and then upgrade it to Switch 2.
Unlike Animal Crossing, the game has a story and progression. It's mostly an action-RPG, with classes (lives) and a linear plot. Some of the classes are fighting classes (standard fighter, archer, wizard types), some are gathering classes (lumberjack, miner, etc.), and some are crafting classes (woodworker, blacksmith, etc.).What exactly is the goal in this game? Sorry, but the more I keep reading people just talk about it, the more confused I am. I get it's a comfy game, but I don't know what that means...I guess the first thing that comes to mind is animal crossing, but then i hear about classes, which is far from animal crossing.

Soooo, Rune Factory kinda?Unlike Animal Crossing, the game has a story and progression. It's mostly an action-RPG, with classes (lives) and a linear plot. But - the game also has a town you build with villagers, similar to Animal Crossing. There is also an open-world section you can play in, that is where you can fight monsters to level up, gather materials for crafting, etc. This all exists outside of the main story sections of the game, and are kind of 100% optional.
Pretty similar to Rune Factory, but less focus on the farming and dating aspects (there are no romances in this game)Soooo, Rune Factory kinda?
NotHow important is the multiplayer component in this game?
