Total sales for slow-life RPG FANTASY LIFE i: The Girl Who Steals Time have surpassed 1.2 million units, publisher LEVEL-5 and developer LEVEL-5 Osaka announced.
Additionally, LEVEL-5 announced plans to release a physical edition of the Switch 2 version on August 7 in Japan. It will ship as a "Nintendo Switch 2 Edition," similar to games like Rune Factory: Guardians of Azuma. Physical editions are currently available for PlayStation 5 and Switch.

FANTASY LIFE i: The Girl Who Steals Time launched for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, PlayStation 4, Switch, and PC via Steam on May 21 worldwide, followed by Switch 2 on June 5. It sold 500,000 copies within its first two days of release, 800,000 copies within 10 days, and one million copies by June 12.
A "Photo Mode" is scheduled to be implemented via an update later in July. Players will be able to take photo using features such as pose settings, the option to show or hide Buddies and adjustable camera angles to suit each player's preferences. A photo contest is also planned, with details to be announced in the near future.
