Total sales for slow-life RPG FANTASY LIFE i: The Girl Who Steals Time have surpassed 1.2 million units, publisher LEVEL-5 and developer LEVEL-5 Osaka announced.

Additionally, LEVEL-5 announced plans to release a physical edition of the Switch 2 version on August 7 in Japan. It will ship as a "Nintendo Switch 2 Edition," similar to games like Rune Factory: Guardians of Azuma. Physical editions are currently available for PlayStation 5 and Switch.

Yeah want ma' physical (and cheaper) version. Pretty much buy all Switch (2) games second hand anyway. Well aside from the Nintendo stuff I want on day one.

The game continues to sell well, so there's a good chance they might release a Switch 2 edition physical copy for NA as well.

Btw, the JP SW2 physical edition comes with EN language support in case you decide to import that SKU.

Well for now there is no actual physical version in west, it digital only.

I'm guessing Level 5 thought the game wouldn't be that popular in west.

I'd get the Asian copy if I'm going to get it... That's where I live.

But if it's a key card then I'd probably just wait for a digital sale.

Glad for them. Game's super charming and fun.

That...intrigues me. I also never cared for Animal Crossing but am somewhat interested in this one.
The Animal Crossing element is like 10% of the game I'd say. If you know AC, imagine that but you can take your villagers on adventures as your party members. Those adventures are where you spend most of your time, and could be either advancing the main quest, exploring a big open-world or doing dungeons. Fighting monsters and gathering resources is the name of the game.

I'm surprised how much I'm liking this game because I was NEVER fan of animal crossing games.

The 'Animal Crossing' stuff is only one small element of the much bigger whole. It's like if you took Animal Crossing and then added a whole ass action RPG on top of it, with the action RPG stuff feeding back in to crafting cool shit for your town / house if you want.

Hmm… I kind of liked Fantasy Life 1 on 3DS. Might grab the physical for Switch 2 at some point if it's actually on the game cart vs stupid key card.

Found something interesting while farming for legendary don horns. I realised while refreshing the tower levels to force the map to refresh the events while looking for the legendary don spawn that I had my area that it appears in set to rank 7 when it spawned it was level 100 and took quite a while to take down as I'm only around lv80 however it dropped way more loot than normal it dropped 3 don horns and 3 don meat. Usually at lower levels you only get 1 of each. Not sure if my item drop armour has anything to do with it but if anyone's wanting to speed up may grinding getting them to spawn in at higher ranks seems to be worth the hassle of battling high level events.

Edit: tried it at setting the are rank to 6 and repeating when the legendary don spawned it it was lv80 and dropped x2 horns & x2 meat
