I'm up to level 11 which, I think, is the last level. It feels like the game is wrapping to a big finale so I guess it's almost over.

To remind you of the level it's the one where (spoilers)

I'm at the volcano. I've gone to the first lift, gone through this area and found the other lift and I'm now trying to kill that dude. There's a helicopter crashed on the floor, the dude up on a wall in a corner with a minigun and a shitload of enemies are taking me out with machine guns

I've tried at least 20 times and I just can't do it. The bastards keep killing me straight away. Even with lots of health in the area it just doesn't help me. So I think there must be something obvious I'm missing. Is there something I'm supposed to do apart from stand and fight?

What pipe? I just fought myself out of there. Melee attacking the predators while emptying clips into the boss.

When the boss gets personal just change between melee attacking him and shooting. Don't get to far away as his gun rips you apart.

Thanks. I've really been enjoying this game. In most places it's been as good as Halo was, IMHO, and even better in some places. Levels 4-8 were fantastic but it went downhill after that tbh.
