Saw this last night. Worst FF movie. Mamia and Larson sucked
Last one I saw had Dom fighting a submarine and using his car to knock around torpedos. Was there another one in between (other than the Rock/Statham one) or is this the next one?
I gotta admit a strange weakness for these films going all the way back to the first one in 2000 or whatever.

That sounds like 8. I had seen all of them at the theater and just about walked out of 8 it was so bad. Haven't seen 9 and don't plan on seeing 10 either.

That jet turbine explosion gif is really well put together - kudos to the SFX team who did that.

Jason mamoa made me laugh a lot had low expectations for him, but I’m hyped to see him in the sequel. serious sometimes, but crazy with a joker smile lot of the time he was like heath ledgers joker kinda. Ending credits scene surprised me too I’m hyped for the next one

Momoa was way better than expected (didn't expect anything). Didn't love it otherwise. I don't know if it's actually their intention to make the new Fast movies so dumb they're good again, but it doesn't work and reminds me of what the Resident Evil movies turned into after 1 and arguably 2

Felt like they didn't know what to do with the dialogue and plot so they just threw 90% action at the script. Was fun.

Saw it last night. These movies are really made for a cinema reel - Since i didn't see Fast 9 (The space one) i watched that at home and oof, that was hard to swallow.
This one is very bombastic, also very unrealistic. The only thing that actively put me off was the downright atrocious CGI. It was very obvious to spot where the real car ended and the CGI car came in. Heck, there was a split second where i could literally tell the animation ended and it cut off to the next, haha.
In a movie that costed 340 million (!), i expect atleast decent CGI. But there were plenty of shots i felt a real time renderer like UE5 could do better.

This movie was surprisingly good. I didnt like the last 2 or 3 much but this one is decidedly better. Momoa is taking the piss, he knows what he signed up for. Some good set pieces and action here.
Its a sequel to Five which I consider the high point of the franchise. Its good that for the final movie, they took this one as baseline.

What makes me laugh about the franchise is that the protagonists have luxury cars such as Ferrari or Bugatti, but they live on a farm that almost collapsed.
