What is it? 2D Fighting game from the creators of The King of Fighters series.

What's it on? PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, And Steam.

Is there cross play? Yes.

Is there roll back netcode? Yes.

Is this a good beginner fighter? Very much so yes. It has extremely short and easy combos, few moves for the whole roster, and simple but deep system mechanics.

He may be dlc. I'm not familiar enough with the timeline and lore but he could be dead or doing other shit since this takes place in the later years of KoF franchise. Terry without hat, and Dong Hwan is Kim's student. I think Preecha is also Joe Hagashis student.

Didn't see an OT, so this is just slop I cobbled together for those that wanted to discuss this game.

I highly recommend it for people who want to get into 2D fighters or want something simpler like older titles like Street Fighter 3 or Garou Mark of the Wolves. It's a highly approachable game and easy execution wise.

There's a lot of "systems" I put up top but it's more word diarrhea and actual combat flows simply and is easy to do. It's more about fundamental fighting skills like reads, footsies, and meter management.

There's plenty of SP offline content, a color editor, and solid netcode for those going online.

Completely killed mine. other IP's getting in before regular characters is bad enough but real people, especially twats like Cronaldo is a too much to tolerate.
