What is your favorite food that if you could, you would eat everyday? I mean, that finger licking good, can't get enough of it dish?

Mine is burritos de carne asade. God, when it's done right, the juice of the fajita just makes every bite so juicy, and then with cheese, *drool*.

A close second would be the Fettucini Chicken Alfredo from Romano's Macaroni Grill. Oh my.

That really good refried beans and mexican rice from Torero's; most pizza; a really good fast-food burger, like from A&W or Johnny Rocket's or something. Oh yeah, and almond fried chicken. I really like almond fried chicken.

I respect you so much now, A&W is the shit. Another great burger place is Silver Streak, I know they used to be in the Southwest, but I haven't seen them in years. Used to be the best. DQ hunger busters aren't bad either, especially not for the price. Too bad my DQ smells like ass.

isnt that just shredded beef steaks? good though, if made well, and includes guacamole.

mine is oven baked, grilled or fried fish. marinated with lemon, garlic, tomato, basil and various other ingredients.

pomphret, sea bass, dourado, salmon, halibut, carp, tilapia, stingray...

side with soft roasted brown rice, and some grilled veggies...a warm glass of shiraz...i think im getting hungry again.

I've never heard of Silver Streak, but I don't know how much I trust a burger joint named after a Gene Wilder/Richard Pryor movie. I can definitely agree on DQ, though.

Pizza.

Runners up would be salmon, chicken burritos from real, good Mexican resteraunts, broccoli beef + rice at Chinese resteraunts, and coffee ice cream.

Pepperoni Pizza - a good one is better than any other food on earth

Haribo Gold Bears - it's own damn food group

Chicken Alfredo - if it's good (lots of cheese and cream) it's downright overwhelming

I had that for the first time yesterday. Awesomeness.

My fave? Probably Pizza. The good stuff, though. Not crap.

Curry beef is beautiful too.

Too many to list
Ramen
Japanese Curry
Sushi/Sashimi
Shark Fin Soup
Snake Hotpot
Tom Yum Goong
Pho with beef & tripes
Chicken Lau Lau
BBQ Kal-bi/shortribs
Porterhouse Steak

I'm pretty much a healthy eater. Candy/cookies and shit in very strict moderation, and I'm good about sticking to lean chicken, beef, etc. All that usual junk that surely keeps me a mere whisp of a thing.

But it will be a cold day in hell when I give up fried chicken. Holy shit, Popeye's chicken strips are GODLY.

I have a weak spot for Jack in the Box's Bacon & Cheddar Potato Wedges. It's absolutely disgusting if I step back and think about it, but I crave it all the time. It must be the salt.

I'm lucky enough to have a mom who cooks gourmet dinners.. shrimp, filet mignon wrapped with bacon, chicken cordon bleu. I treasure those meals. The rest of the time it's the usual Shake & Bake or similar prepacked, ultra-bland lowest-common-denominator stuff.

There's also some food I REALLY like from Pontianak, Indonesia but I don't know what they're called...They have some really great vegetable dishes there. O_O

Our homemade steaks. Better than any steak I have ever had in a restaurant or hotel.

We usually make em with a side of mash potatos and mixed veggies.

I think we are going to grill em up this weekend. God I love summer.

Grilled Pork Chops marinated in garlic and pepper. Oh... my... god.

BTW, if there are any Gaffers in Houston, I need recommendations for a good Japanese restaurant here. I crave noodles.

Edit: Not your noodle.

Woah, I've never heard of dragonfruit before. What's it like?
It's kind of like kiwi actually, but it's not as sour or acidic. :) Don't take my word for it though. I seriously recommend you try it. Plus the way it looks will blow your mind... It's like: WHAT THE HELL IS THAT?! Then you eat it. vO_Ov

That pick of prime rib is nasty - totally bloody uncooked. Ug!

I like my steaks charred. Mmmmmm. :)
WHAT?! I like my meat medium rare usually. I thought that picture is perfect for prime rib though. O_O It's nice and juicy.

I like Shrimp!

Shrimp is the fruit of the sea. You can barbecue it, boil it, broil it, bake it, sautee it. Dey's uh, shrimp-kabobs, shrimp creole, shrimp gumbo. Pan fried, deep fried, stir-fried. There's pineapple shrimp, lemon shrimp, coconut shrimp, pepper shrimp, shrimp soup, shrimp stew, shrimp salad, shrimp and potatoes, shrimp burger, shrimp sandwich. That- that's about it.

mmm shrrrimp

If I didn't care that I'd get a heart attack: chicken pot pie, Totinos pizza, or some kind of quiche. Vienna sausages get an honorable mention. Big ups to Vienna.

In the real world though, I used to stick to smoked salmon, chicken sandwiches, and/or bean burritos pretty much everyday. Those were better times...

(eats old meatloaf and stale bread soup) :(

Tacos
Spring Rolls
Filet mignon
I never much cared for filet mignon. I think it gets way too much hype. Presentation-wise it beats all the other cuts but taste-wise I'd rather have a new york strip or a porterhouse or (as mentioned above) prime rib. O_O That's my ten cents on that. I just think it's over-hyped.

Ham, pineapple, feta and extra cheese pizza.

Spaghetti, subs, and burritos second.

Of course the quality has to be there to, any food can be terrible if it isn't made right...That's why I stay away from the kitchen. ;)

Man, there are so many foods I enjoy, but I'll just list a few.

moms Lasagna
Pizza
General Tso's Chicken
Mongolian Beef
Spicy Tuna/California/Tempura Sushi
Won Ton/Hot & Sour Soups

Taco Bell by far, but as far as homemade food, I love spaghetti, not the watered down can variety but the one you cook at home, with thick sauce, beef and lots and lots of parmesan cheese.

I also like homemade pizza. I usually buy the flaky crusts, then I take some of those vegetarian sausage patties from Morningstar Farms, which my girlfriend is into, grind and mix them with the pizza sauce, add it to the crust then a lot of cheese on top, that way the veggie beef is in between the cheese and crust and doesn't fall off the top.
