If you can afford bacon eggs and cheese you're not really struggling.

it's only like 5-6€ and will last you 4 days...?>> 99cent bacon€, grinded cheese 1,29€, 10 eggs 2€ and the cheapest noodles you can find.

oh another one..potatos. only potatos. without ketchup or anything. I had that in november 2010 but only for 5 days.

Serious answer: when I forgot to buy groceries, one thing that I can always do quickly is hummus or pasta olio e aglio.

aaaah a classic. always have garlic in the house.

Eggs with chopped up hotdogs.

Spaghetti with pepper and salt. Butter if I have it.

Canned vegetables.

Bread and water.

And my personal favorite. Large glasses of water to curb hunger.

Cheese Pasta

Step 1: Boil pasta till cooked.

Step 2: Grate handful of cheddar cheese.

Step 3: Cut a slice of butter and rub it around in a bowl till the bowl is completely covered.

Step 4: Drain pasta then dump in bowl.

Step 5: Dump cheese in bowl.

Step 6: Cover top of the bowl with a plate then shake away

Step 7: Microwave for a minute.

Probably one of the most unhealthy foods ever, but still goddamn delicious.

That is macaroni and cheese.

This thread turned into "worst struggle foods" and I'm kind of thankful for that. Pb&j is my struggle food and it's also one of my favorite things to eat period.

Buy 3 McDoubles, dump the bread. Prepare a basic salad on the side (lettuce + ranch).

I really enjoy this meal

Thought Emoji Movie was good. Take that as you will.
It's basically a brick of processed cheese issued to folks on welfare. I said it mostly as a joke, I think it's an outdated thing at this point? I'm not sure.

Damnit, I didn't know if it was still a thing or not.

That was from like the 80's... and I had a friend who got it, and they used it for the free lunches at the park. I loved that stuff... it was a like a cross between velvetta and normal cheddar... not as soft as velvetta, but not as hard as cheddar.

Of course that was my single digit age self thinking it was good... so probably wasn't.

Blank, dyed, cellulose based paper is actually quite decent if you get it moist. Of course you shouldn't eat large quantities of it, but as a meat/flavor substitute (as in the image) it should be ok once in a while. Could always use additional ketchup to sketch that drumstick instead of using a pen.
