February EGM Scores

is it? when the GBA came out it didn't take many weeks before a working emu was out. That's not the case with DS yet what I know.
I know this is going to BLOW YOUR MIND, but it's possible to fit the resolution of both DS screens within the confines of one PC monitor.

Shock and awe.

eh of course :P

Writing a GOOD emu on "new" technology is never easy though.

It's not really new, though. It's just an ARM7 and ARM9 with a potentially modified instruction set.

wow. DS seller number 1 title (post launch) revealed! It looks like its going to be incredible and if that statement about DS>PSone, then we can expect to play a truly great CV title. SOTN was really polished for its time so I have high hopes for this!

*and thanks! to my PMer! :)

*does anyone have the sales data for the GBA Castlevanias? CVXfreak? Jarrod? :)

Yeah it'll be interesting to see how the game handles all those sprites. But the quality of the actual sprites in the screenshots I saw didn't seem SoTN level. Better than Aria of Sorrow though.

your tag changes year :)

I agree with what you said about the sprites = however I think that's largely and obviously due to the difference in screen resolution. You can do just that much with a DS display and that much more with a TV screen. Visuals or not, that didn't stop COTM + AOS from rocking. HARD.

10. Nintendo 64

8. Gamecube
7. Genesis
6. Xbox
5. Playstation 2
4. Game Boy Advance
3. Super NES
2. Playstation
1. Nintendo Entertainment System

I couldn't possibly agree with this. I'm pretty much an "old school" gamer, but no way could I say that NES is the best console. As far as I'm concerned, the majority of its library simply doesn't hold up anymore. Xbox on the list at all is a bit much for me, but over Genesis or even Dreamcast and N64? Of course, the omission of the Saturn is glaring.

But of course, it's all subjective. My top three would probably be Saturn, Genesis, and SNES in some order. Then I guess PSone, and I can't even imagine what would follow.
