It is funny seeing interviews with Bischoff now where he is all "I wanted my product to be different, I wanted it to be more real" when talking about the NWO etc.
They gloss over the insane amount of money they spent on a video game knock off, completely unrealistic cartoon character in Glacier.

Meltzer did get a big chuckle out of adding DDP to the WWE Hall of Fame when he says he personally got a ton of feedback from within WWE at the time he was brought in that DDP "sucked" in the ring and he only had the 1 year run because he was hated backstage for being bad and that Undertaker intentionally buried him almost immediately because he didn't like that DDP plotted out his matches (which everyone does now).
DDP ahead of his time (in a bad way).
P.S. The Unforgiven 2006 Heck in a Cell was dumb. Felt like a parody. Buncha circle-jerking dorks cutting each other's faces and suck it-ing and putting their faces in each other's butts. This trash is long in the tooth. Bring on the PG Era.

I met Glacier the first year he did Chikara's King of Trios. He seemed very nice and humble.

I mean, the biggest problem with the women's division on SmackDown is that it basically exists to put Becky Lynch over as often as they think they can get away with (especially now that Nikki's leaving). Even when Naomi had the title, I don't buy that the long term plan wasn't Becky doing something else with it.
It's one of those problems you run into when the entire division is 6 people, 1 of them is a mega-babyface, and everyone else is just kind of there.

Yup. Though this problem runs through every women's division. You've got the mega stars (the horsewomen, Nia, Asuka, Moon, and I guess now Nikki Cross) and everyone else just exists to job to them.
Which would be fine if all these women were on the same program. But spread them out across three shows and....yeah.
