I remember liking Glacier when I first started watching WCW, he wasn't my fav wrestler (Sting!!!) but he was pretty... cool.
Even back then I understood he wasn't gonna be main eventing against Hogan or anything but I remember being invested in his feud with Mortis and to a lesser extent the Cat/Wrath stuff later on. That was his spot on the card, everyone had their 'story' and I understood why it was happening etc.
Younger me is so different, I could watch Bash At The Beach 97 top to bottom and know and care about why each match was happening.
Now I fast-forward through 75% of Raw and can barely give a shit.
Was being a kid/mark just more fun? Is it too much wrestling now? Like by the time you get to the PPV you've seen those guys wrestle each other so often on the weekly show you don't care anymore. Or is it just a case of the 'top guys' they're forcing now being shit so you lose interest?
