I really enjoyed the XIII series so I certainly hope it finally comes to steam/PC in preparation for XV which Nomura said might expand to the platform. Lighting Returns in particular is really hurt by the abysmal framerate.
It said Steam, not Vita.
oh boy!
Probably a typo
If you don't care for XV, here is more Lightning for you - http://www.square-enix.co.jp/fabula/FF13_Portal/
Lol. Maybe someone at S-E really doesn't want her to be forgotten.![]()
A PC version would explain that streaming version SE just announced.

honestly..not gonna gonna lie..
Would love to replay this series on PC.
Especially lightning returns with improvements and mods.
I haven't even played LR, so I'll definitely be down for it on a Steam sale.
FFXV is all but confirmed for PC at this point.
All of the big Japanese publishers putting their games on PC is such an exciting development. Especially for the big budget games like MGS V, going to be future proof.
What does the "Ultimate Hits International" Version of FFXIII include ?
Any actual additional content ? This could be the version to release on steam.
I shall ride with you to glory54 shall be FFXV.
GAF, I make a plea. On behalf of the cult of Versus, will you believe hence forth and march forward one more?

Now all we need is Atlus, Capcom and Namco to follow suit.
JRPGs will find a new home on PC in the west.
It added an Easy Mode. That's it.

The low userbase in Japan will stunt that development.

Many smaller Japanese games don't come over because the audience is pretty scattered which makes pulling the trigger and localizing them such a huge deal when copies potentially sit in stores till they end up in the bargain bin. Digital distribution allays a lot of that since density no longer is a factor, and Steam is a much better proposition than e.g. 3DS eShop as far as perception goes, so yes, this is something of a very logical step.
As i said in the other thread, it seems PC users will now be able to suffer through crap with us console owners
Just don't make a next gen version or ill really be angry. Cause then i'd be forced to buy it even though i really don't want to.
No Japanese company ever does PC with the Japan market in mind.
what ? Easy mode ?
They should have added hard mode not easy mode...lol

Final Fantasy XIII spreads like a disease. And now the PC will also get infected.
Well there is an undisclosed PS4 game at TGS.
IGN played it during an earthquake.

Let's hope PC players actually get the ending of FFXIII-2 packed inside the actual game instead of a separate DLC like the console version
The "Ultimate Hits International" release was basically their way of releasing the game on the 360 in Japan later on. It was just the 360 version, with English voices and theme song, and Japanese text, with the balance changes made for the English release, and an easy mode tacked on. Eventually I think the easy mode was patched in to the PS3 version too.
What does that have to do with Toriyama? That's Yoshi's game.
