Yes! I didn't forget. But he isn't on GAF yet. And i won two friendly season, one vs TheCloser and one vs Anastacio... those were the GAF challengers! Haha just joking, Limality killed me and that was a bloodbath! :D

Anyone knows who is that Rocksteady guy on my stream yesterday? He was there all day and seemed to be a gaffer. He could certainly witness himself i was playing for fun...

Just do what I do, buy $60 of US PSN credit on Amazon, redeem it on your US PSN account and then buy it from the store. I get the feeling that EA games won't be on the Amazon digital store for a while, if at all.

Thanks, yes I've been thinking in doing that. Still, I was hoping Amazon to add it (they just added BF4) with some kind of discount :p I feel bad for paying 60$ for a not-nextgen FIFA.
 
Posted my PS3 copy to Amazon on Monday night... Thursday afternoon, they still haven't received it. Getting a little anxious (esp since I posted in a post box with no proof-of-postage, line at post office was super long..)
 
I cant wait to get this game. I love Fifa, and I have 14 on the PS3... but I will upgrade to the PS4 version.... for the minor upgrades alone.
 
I'm enjoying FIFA on PS4 more than I thought I would. Its still a bit buggy here and there... But all in all its a great upgrade. I'm so happy with the speed of everything... Everything flows a lot quicker & hardly any waiting times (compared to last gen).

And the game is much more realistic than everyone think. I look at a match yesterday (for the record, it was Evian vs Paris), there was a lot of lobbed through balls and tempo was the same. Very realistic for an abstracted game (12 minutes vs 90).

As mentioned above... The ball physics have been greatly improved with the Ignite engine.

And yes it is... Can we safely say this is indeed the best football game ever made?

(For sheer fun and banter, Pro Evo 4 on PS2 was so good back in the day though. Had many fun times with mates 1 vs 1)

The most realistic football game ever? Yes, definitely.
The best football game ever made? I don't think it tops WC2010, PES6 and ISS Pro Evolution 2 in terms of fun and best "game" overall. I look forward to WC2014 though.
 
I found EA really dropped the ball graphics-wise on their new sports titles. I expect more out of next year's games, especially given that NBA 2k14 seems to show off a glimpse at what the new consoles can pull off.
 
Right, I'm OK at FIFA, but awful at defending chipped through balls. If someone's running at my CB and their player chips the ball to them, my defenders just run so entirely slowly that they get trapped beneath.
 
does anyone else find the FUT transfer market on PS4 to be completely dead?

I've tried to sell a bunch of stuff for very reasonable prices and nobody ever bites :(

Yes it's dead. I'm not surprised EA didn't do it but they could have a PS3+PS4 market for FUT. They already import the teams, money and stats, so having the same market would help with the first couple of iterations on next-gen.

The problem is that PS4 doesn't have a big userbase of players (considering the 2.1M consoles and 1M+ on US, FIFA would probably sold around 300k-400k at best. That's around 1/20th of the PS3 userbase for FIFA.

FUT is one of the worst things of FIFA anyway
 
That's exactly what EA did. The Ultimate Team market on PS4 is the same, they're connected. Had no issues, if you list something for the cheapest on the market, it'll sell.

There's currently over 1.5m auctions.

Oh, I already explained why I lost. It doesn't really bother me as I mark it off as a bad day. It's what ever though. I had fun playing against anastacio, superwillkiller and mossypne. I got pretty pissed off last night while playing Alej and it was as a result of a bunch of things. I was just going to call it a night but then I came back on here and saw the stuff he was posting and got even more pissed off. Win or lose, I don't care. You won't see me posting screens or results of the match wether I win or lose. What pissed me off was Alej thinking he was hot stuff scoring the same sweaty goals since fifa 10. Crossing to the far post. It's one thing when you lose, it's another thing when you lose to someone who is really not that good and then they talk rubbish to your face. I was pissed off and why wouldn't I be.

You're strange. I don't understand how you can say that... You come here to say you don't like L2+Triangle, etc. And what you're doing? You do that all the times! It explains my reaction after that... But it's not me the salty guy.

I played against Superwillkiller and he was good. Have you seen me saying it was boring to play against him? No. I played against Anastacio and he was good. Have you seen me saying it was boring to play against him? No...

And then, i have the game for a little less than one week, i've done ten match or so in career mode, fifteen in seasons, one or two in FUT and then some friendlies. I'm not good at the game right now, not good at all. You know why? Read this thread carefully, you'll see why. (hint: i was an only full manual player until now, playing versus anastacio with assisted controls was my first match in assisted since WC2010... and it takes time to adapt)

But i really can't stand this madness. Stop talking about me.
 
i tried FIFA on demo station and i was really close to the screen and still it looked really good... but the problem was than animations were very jerky, worse than on PES@ps3.

hopefully real next gen version improved significantly on this.

On the PC side at least they went through the disc and found the world cup trophy and some stadiums on the disc. So I think it will be DLC like the Euro 2012 one was.

FIFA 14 surprised you? I asked my cousin what he thought of the PS4 and he said to me he wasn't impressed at all. I asked him why? He said he played FIFA 14 and it looked exactly the same as the PS3 version.
 
I'm still convinced online games are "rigged". Some games where my CPU players bust their balls to get on to every loose ball, close down players and make tackles. Other games they do fuck all whilst the opposition teams CPU players do the previously mentioned. Not surprisingly, when they do this, you win, when they don't, you lose. I have friends who also buy in to the conspiracy... Tinfoil hats!

I could see why he would say that. It certainly has the same look and feel as the PS3 version, but that was to be expected of a launch title - especially one of a yearly iterated sports title.

I would say this though...if you never drink whiskey, then top shelf and bottom shelf all taste the same. If you swill that shit daily, you can start to tell the difference between A and B on almost a pretentious level. The same goes here, I play FIFA religiously. Don't have a PS4 yet, but I've played 4 or 5 games on next gen consoles and can say the game as whole feels different. I mean, the whole game is knowing what animations will play based on your input and the next gen versions definitely have animations that aren't on the 360/PS3 versions. So make of that what you will.
