Yes James get in!

I still don't know why Cahill's goal wasn't nominated when it was essentially identical, if not slightly better.

Does someone have that pic of Ronaldo and all the good things he's done? I think one of them is 'doesn't have tattoos so can give blood' or something.

“I don’t have tattoos because I donate blood very often,” he said, according to Diretta News, while also taking the time to share a photo on his Facebook page that showed him donating at a hospital. He reportedly gives twice a year.

That's because no one watches Bundesliga outside of Bayern games. :(

Lol, I watch the Bundesliga except the Bayern games :D

but that was th german cup, and I don't think this cometition gets any international interest outside a Bayern - Dortmund Final

on topic:

Ronaldo had a crazy CL season, so it is deserved to again receive the Trophy. Neuer would also have been a good choice though, outstanding performance in the world cup

So happy that CR7 won. I would have cried in dismay if the little asshole hobbit had won instead. But come on FIFA, what the hell is with Luiz being in the world XI?

This is an award for the best player in the world during for an entire year. That was Ronaldo and it really isn't close to the next player. He's been the best in the world for a couple of years now.

I agree with this. Ronaldo has been in incredible form. The right decision has been made as far as I'm concerned.

Haters gonna hate, the man was plagued with leg injuries throughout 2014 and rose to the top, shattered records, won the Champions League.

now just imagine how much better he would have been if he was 100% healthy all year long?

Most depressing thing for me is that FIFA/FIFPro XI 55-man shortlist comes from just 11 teams

That's what happens with no salary cap... how soon until the top ~20 teams start their own superleague and the hundreds of other teams become a forgotten backwater?

Never going to happen. Ronaldo/Messi need scrub teams to break goal records against.

I don't think you know what that term means...

Neuer should have won, just because how he influenced goalkeeping in soccer as whole.
I don't see this at all, at best he has provided the internet with a few gifs that made people go "lol that crazy bastard" with his tryhard shenanigans. Most other keepers will carry on trying to be as safe and anonymous as possible.

As good as Neuer is, what he does is not new. Look at Latin American goalkeepers from the past few decades: Higuita, Campos, etc.

I would have voted Lahm, Ronaldo, and Neuer I guess. Maybe Di Maria a close fourth. It's silly though because the only reason Messi would be as low as fifth would be because he has set such high standards for himself. An average season for Messi is still a career best for genuinely great players like
original
Ronaldo, Henry, etc.
