I love watching RyanLV play; Chun's my girl but I'm not good enough at Marvel or stuck with it long enough to make her work at all in 3, so it warms my heart to see her do work with her. It even outweighs him playing Morrigan/Phoenix! 
Too bad the netcode in Marvel 3 is such ass, I'd consider picking up the PS4 port.

The thing about Wesker is that horizontal grounded dominance isn't exactly where you want to be when the competitive metagame is run by aerial mobility and tracking assists. If you really want to win with Wesker it takes a lot of unlocking his counter potential.
As for Strider assist, it's one of those things that is slightly better on paper than in reality because all the top tier players are masters of punishing it. You're never gonna hit Fchamp with Strider. Missiles are super safe by comparison even when Strider assist sounds better.

First time watching RyanLV
I tuned in for grandfinals and my first time was spent watching a laggy RyanLV.

grand finals last match cutting out sucked. huge shame b/c from what i can tell what angelic did was pretty tight even if he lost the match.
he got the hit on phoenix at 5 bars, did the old XF tac tech and killed phoenix. after that i guess ryan managed to escape and astral up to just morrigan + XF angelic to death slowly as the last split second of screen i saw was an xfless astraled morri/chun chucking fireballs at half health dorm/shuma
anyways, angelic played ridiculously good and just choked out a bit, unfortunately. dude pulled out the good shit, with some silly stuff like comboing off raw chaotic flame with speedup into berserker slash + assist.
shame we didn't get to see the chris vs. ryan rematch but the way chris was playin', it definitely looked like angelic had a way better chance at taking ryan out

Depends on what experience you want. Yakuza is probably a better choice overall.
If you like Souls games/Ninja Gaiden then Nioh is an easy pick IMO.
I am picking up Nioh tomorrow. But I am biased because it's in a genre I like a lot.
