Fighting Games Weekly | April 1-7 | And after 0-3, he has risen

Why does Beef hate Fanatiq so much

He's just stating a fact. Fanatiq's a shilling scumbag that basically monopolizes any camera pointed at him to talk about himself or his products/endeavors.

There's nothing wrong with cutting a promo for your sponsor but there is a thing known as 'time and place.' Shamelessly shilling your wares at a charity event is neither the time or place. Its despicable and should not be encouraged ever.

You know how hard it is to travel to these events and do what a lot of these top players do. It's good to see an American company like PDP supporting Fanatiq, Chris, and Knives, etc. Does it really piss people off that much that the man is just trying to help push the name of the people that helped him so much.
Eh, not really a compelling argument. And not really an accurate premise, either.

I pay my own way to majors and bought hundreds of dollars in streaming equipment with the primary intent of simply boosting my local scene. I feel that I'm at least entitled to run ads on my videos and put up a donation link, but I haven't even bothered to do that yet. I'm not particularly sympathetic to the plight of players with largely free rides (even though I know FG sponsorship isn't really that lucrative of a deal in the end).

I'm also pretty sure that people aren't just hating on him plugging his sponsor, period. Personally, I think a lot of his segues into it are funny as hell. There's a time and place for it, though.

Sorry, I/we choose to support as many tournaments as we can in the US. That is my goal for now. I don't think a lot of US players can handle the type of partnership we are looking for. I mean look at this past weekend.

You're the best Mark. Don't ever let anyone make you think otherwise.

That said, don't be greedy with FGC GAF. I want to talk in here every now and then too ya know. Scolding me on stream. *grumble grumble* :P

Fair enough. :) You guys have done so so so much for the FGC honestly one of the best companies / people the FGC have ever had supporting them.

P.S If he did bad mouth any Madcatz headphones while promoting AGE and there is video proof of this I think he should do the right thing and step down from any sort of sponsorship with PDP. (I got a feeling it was made up by Stream viewers to add fuel to the things that went down.)

This in full.

My brother and I also run a stream for our local scene called KOcast. I definitely respect what you're doing and I feel the same way.

ChinDogg get Bunk to do more Alphaism radios.

Ben's been semi-retired for a while. He'll pop on when he feels like it but you really have to catch him in a mood.

I've been trying to get my streaming stuff put together to try and continue the show on a more regular basis. I've just been having issues with equipment. Once I get that handled I'll make the announcement of the new show. Out of respect to Ben and Ski, it won't be called Alphaism or Bunkei's Corner (obviously.) MrMet wants me to call it White Noise, I've been kicking around the name Random Super/Random Ultra. If you guys got any ideas for a name let me know lol.

Can you explain how the Team Spooky partnership came about and what does it really mean. Is it like your sponsorships with other teams like DMG etc.

Wasn't Chindogg the one that shouted nagger on stream one time? And by nagger I don't mean nagger.

I'll fully own up to that, but there is some context behind it.

That day, stream chat was beyond awful. Some of the most racist, misogynistic things I've ever read in chat ever (and I was a mod for Canada's Cup for reference to how bad it can get.) That night I got drunk as hell with IFD Humbag and Tuboware. We came to a room where Mark and AJ were doing their Test Stream. Being the drunk asshole that I was I yelled in Mark and AJ's ears then went to talk to Ski and Offcast. I went on a bit of a tirade at how terrible stream monsters can be and started quoting things I saw that day in chat. One of those things was a guy dropping N bombs. The room got quiet right as I was quoting this and the mic picked it up. Everyone had a good laugh at my dumb ass for saying something like that despite the context. Unfortunately when things hit the internet the context is stripped and that's what people remember of me now. Ever since I've tried to present myself in a more professional and constructive light in public. That said I still say what I feel, but I do try to be a bit more responsible for what comes out of my mouth.

It's a lesson learned that I wish many more personalities in the community would learn themselves.

Wanna bet a sponsorship on my money match with Filthie? :-D

Well, I was watching the archives earlier since I missed some of the team tournament. He was on commentary with Skisonic, but it doesn't look like he said anything about Madcatz or Tritton headphones.

Just don't tell people to STFU. That causes internet rage. Internet rage is a bad thing. Cause it leads only to stupidity.

I would actually try the game out if Taskmaster was in it.
