I guess it just sort of makes me confused and maybe even a bit angry to know that a guy who barely practices the game is able to take it over people who still take this game seriously and practice hardcore. Maybe I just don't like the fact that Champ took AE, but there is no denying he is a very talented player.

Justin won SG. He usually places pretty high and doesn't know the combos.

At the Capcom event in NY, Ricky Ortiz got 2nd in 3rd Strike.

Good players are good.

He randomly grabbed the mic and called some stream monster a f*ggot. It was weird.

Kai is just extremely awkward. You could see it at WNFs when people would stand around him and clap, and Ultradavid would poke fun at him. I think his recent success at Marvel has given him the confidence to come out of his shell a little bit, but since he has no solid social base to stand on, he's just weird.

He made a mistake. Someone will explain it to him. And I don't think he's an asshole, so I don't think he'll do it again.

EDIT: He apologized.

He apologized... but he was saying he was having fun with it. He has no clue that the word is offensive. Anyway, like I said, it won't be looked at as any kind of big deal let alone become a banning.

He knows he offended people. He apologized for that. But yeah, the "having fun" comment detracted from the apology.

And I agree, it won't be a big deal. But, in opposition to your original statement, I don't believe you will see anyone actively supporting it. You'll see people brush it off and not care.

I'm sure he'll get a talking to from someone from LevelUp or Cross Counter (since he's been pretty involved with both), but yeah, I don't think he understands why it was offensive... and his apology came off pretty disingenuous.
