Possibly, but the event isn't run by Keits, and the UFGT series was his baby. We announced the event last year under the new branding and are content promoting and growing it as a successor with this new identity.

Plus now we can get away from that acronym anyways.
 
It's all a learning experience man. The first time I got banned I knew exactly why I got banned. I knew what I was doing and I knew it was wrong but I did it anyway because I was caught in the hype. I posted scans of a strategy guide linked from another site. When I got banned I wasn't confused or annoyed, I got what was coming to me (other people were doing it too so I thought I might get away with it but didn't).

This time when I got banned it was just completely different. Not going to go into it but it was certainly a learning experience for me in terms of how GAF operates. I certainly learned what not to do when it comes to certain sensitive matters. I have communicated these things to others who have asked so they can learn from my mistakes and even the moderators were kind enough to explain the situation to everyone as it was sort of a controversial thing.

I have also learned from other people about getting banned. For example I have learned that saying or doing something bad in a place outside of GAF can get you banned or even perma banned on GAF. Yes it has happened and yes you all know who I am talking about (multiple examples in fact).

Btw, remember I said that there is a topanga event at Tokaigi on February 1st? Tokaigi starts on the 31st and on that day there is a 2v2 Smash Bros event featuring 256 teams. I think whoever wins will get an invite to Apex for a US vs Japan match. So whoever is into Smash, be sure to watch that too.

Oh I see, I think it said they face off against the apex winner.

Tokaigi is on the 31st, but the Chokaigi (original event) is in April. Looks like Apex winner will be flown out to Chokaigi. Chokaigi is a Nico Nico event, but Tokaigi is specifically for games. Tokaigi is a new event so the original event was split into two. Tokaigi is where the 256 2v2 teams will compete, and the winner gets to play the apex winner at Chokaigi.

I watched his stream a couple times way back when and it seemed like he would frequently go into these angry rants about how godlike he is and how scrubby the people he was playing were, so I got the opposite impression.

But yea, Juicebox is smart tho. Has some pretty good vids on stuff.

Lol eh. He can get pretty condescending and douchey but typically he says shit how it is. But I just meant watching him play in matches and shit. Dude just didn't give a fuck. Always feelin himself, dancin, enjoying his shit but not overtly being an asshole. Was fun to watch.
