I am just sitting here laughing at some of the possible combinations.
Magneto/Doom (Plasma Beam)/ Doom (Missiles)
Magneto gets to have BOTH Plasma Beam and Missiles on his team where as Doom finally is able to use Missiles as an assist. This will lead to stupid shit like Doom calling his own Missiles and then using Missiles as an assist to keep people away. LMAO!
Vergil/Doom/Vergil
You get to use point Vergil backed up by Doom with anchor Vergil also as an option.
Morrigan/Morrigan/Doom
Morrigan gets to use Harmonizer assist to get to 1 bar if she is out of bar. She can DHC herself into an AV (Finishing Shower, AV).

USF4 feels like it needed another 6 months. I'm looking foward to USF4 VER.2015.
If anything major needs to be addressed beyond fixing bugs like the Fuerte thing they can do it with the console update, although Combo's said they want to let it rock as much as posssible.
No it won't be the best, the point character combination isn't as strong. Morrigan/Doom/Vergil would still be the best or some variation of a Zero team.
I think Morrigan/Morrigan/Doom would be pretty stupid and something I can see ChrisG using.

Someone somewhere is going to try doing Phoenix/Phoenix/Phoenix and try to get a Triple Dark Phoenix team.

Being able to multiselect should have been in the game without a glitch.
And then fail because that is a really stupidly bad team.
MAYBE if someone does Phoenix/Morrigan/Phoenix and then just tries to build meter with runaway Phoenix + meter building assist. Then at 5 bars he would have 2 Dark Phoenixes...
But why use that when you can play Vergil/Doom/Vergil.
No excellent assist for Vergil means this team is much weaker than it looks. Any high mix up team blows this team up hardcore. Vergil in 1st and 2nd slot means less resources for 3rd Vergil to burn.
The only good thing about this team is that it GUARANTEES Vergil coming in with XF3 but that's pointless against a Firebrand team. This team will never get to play against a FB team or even a Zero team.

Ghost Rider can finally be viable with 2 Dooms on his team. ;-D

At the very least you should've been able to do it in H&H from the beginning.
Triple Dark Phoenix (or even double) would be more for novelty than anything else. With that said, that's still 15 bars when someone can just throw in Double Doom or Double Zero for faster and safer results.

They should have let the arcade version rock for more than a month.
Ghost Rider actually does become much stronger with double Dooms backing him up.
No matter what happens in Marvel 3 right now... Doom just gets better and better. LMAO!
The funny thing is that this glitch makes Iron Man 100% irrelevant. Before you could make the case that if you wanted both Missiles and a Beam on your team you would have to pick Doom + Iron Man... now there is no need you can just pick double Doom and it will be more efficient. Iron Man stays losing.
What's better than Vergil x3 is Vergil/Vergil/Strider.

Me. Since you were part of the initial group helping to fund the tickets and registration. I sent you an email last week with the address to send it to.
Well then I would still ban it for offline tournaments because the time required to set up a saved team that utilizes this glitch is likely to be excessive to the point of holding up tournament matches.

Well that's a pleasant surprise. Guess they're confident they can get similar performance on both platforms, otherwise you'd be desynching like crazy.
Yeah I have no issue saying that the initial batch of stages (and I'd argue the majority of stage music, the killer tracks on the soundtrack were mostly in story mode) were pretty lackluster. I think the only stage I really actively "liked" was Maplecrest. Everything else was a combination of indifferent or "would rather avoid". The new stuff they've been pumping out since Squigly hit though has been light night and day in comparison, I'm a huge fan of Bright/Colorful and they've definitely scratched that itch.
Robo-Fortune's stage will be best.
UMvC3 netplay ruined? No, it just got a shot of adrenalin. Flip the current meta on its head and go crazy with it. Triple Phoenix team, snap the entire team out or die.

Why do you always over exaggerate whenever some new tech/glitch comes out?
You could select the same character 3 times in MvC2 but it wasn't allowed in tournaments.... how does this change the game forever?

I can't imagine it being allowed in tournaments, but it does open up some fun possibilities. How about THC's? I wonder if Dorm Chaotic Flame THCing with Dorm Stalking Flare would allow for a combo followup...

I haven't played Kanye Quest but from a video I saw, it has some incredibly nuanced references. Is dope.

This. Even without any glitch, using the preset teams feature is way too time-consuming. It's the SFxT gems problem all over again.
And the ultimate solution for that was to either not use them at all, or reset your save after the patch so you could use Capcom's preset layouts.

It's a game changer if it's allowed in tournaments. Right now we are trying to figure out if its even doable offline.
And I already knew you could select 3 characters in MVC2 but you couldn't in MVC3 until now. It's significant. At the bare minimum it's significant for online play.
You also have me confused with other users as people normally have accused me of DOWN PLAYING "new" tech. Remember that Vergil Pope select which came out not too long ago? I downplayed that big time.
