Saber Extra is actually from the game Fate/Extra on PSP (she's much more brash than the other Sabers), though I wholly recommend watching Fate/Zero, and well... As soon as ufotable start releasing their version of the Fate/Stay Night anime.

And that's a very good point. I hadn't thought about Amazon.

I hate when they change the hair color from the sample. That is the one thing I didn't like about Olivia.

I forget what the prototype wasl ike. I held off on ordering Nimue though. Glad I did.

as long as my fave laura has some good screentime it's fine, even better when she's paired with my 2nd fave...I'll watch it next week, have some work to do until then

She Nyaas. Char/Laura nyaa in the same minute really tested my heart to its limit. You will watch that 30 second part over and over guaranteed.

Agreed! I still love the way Olivia turned out, though.

As for Alphamax, they're a great company. I own numerous figures from them, and definitely come recommended by me. They're especially great at capturing the artwork of Tony Taka.

Eh, still keeping my preorder (not that I could cancel easily, stupid Amiami). Most of the seam lines I saw would be mostly hidden by her hat, and the hair color change doesn't bother me. She's still a unique design that will fit well on my witch shelf. I just may think twice when pressing the pre-order button for something from Square Enix in the future.

Also is Kay from Girls und Panzer really the only commander without a pre-painted scale shown off? My fave girl and not even Beach Queens has said anything about her since her announcement

I'm really not sure. I mean, it's not as though it was incredibly-detailed or anything. It seems like such a small thing to overlook, and was one of the major reasons I cancelled her.

Well, that and the scars on her back...

That is a total shame. Makes me appreciate how finely crafted yet subtle Alter figures are. so effortless that you dont notice how high quality they are at a glance until you really look at the details. It makes you spoiled. Like Kanna from Ano Natsu. she is PERFECT.

Yeah, I'll definitely hold off on pre-ordering anything from SE in the future.

I wish you luck! There's always a chance that yours might not have some of the errors present in the review, so here's that! She'll still be a unique piece, regardless.

That extends to a couple other manufacturers, such as Max Factory, Orchid Seed, and Good Smile Company [among others]. Kotobukiya has gotten better, and their range of licenses definitely help them, but their final products still worry me on occasion. Thankfully, Olivia turned out well [given her price].

I CAN tell you though, KyoAni figures definitely seem to have their shit together Rikka came out exquisitely.

Yeah, I've read that. While they don't have the largest sample base, it's definitely refreshing to see them release a quality product, despite it being an exclusive. :(

for KyoAni, making the figures as accurate as possible seems a high priority. they make bank on their very cute designs and as such a poorly executed figure wouldnt sell. It HAS to look like Rikka. Fans wouldnt put up with less.

how is that rise figure (persona 4) still up? 7.6k when the norm is like 9-10k and its an Alter figure lol.

Actually, judging by HS's in-product shots of Nimue, meijiko, the mouth is still there. Apparently during the review I posted earlier they had the collar moved up further, essentially covering it. The painting is still rough, though, and the hair color is still more pink than purple. But it might not be so bad after all.

Ah right you are. It's not my type but it popped up on my Figinstock alert (I have an alert of Kotobukiya for some reason) and thought that it looked of interest to some people. I'm not sure about the value of a lot of these so I just throw some up and let people judge. I do have a quick gander at MFC and saw people talking about it is out of stock but a closer look at the conversations seems to be about how it's out of stock on specialist stores like Amiami but not at Amazon etc.
