He's a pretty easy pass for me. I always found Lloyd to be one of the dorkier Tales protagonists. Not as bad as ASSbel, but he's no Yuri.
Well, Yuri is a hard hurdle to jump. Tales games will most likely never top themselves with Yuri.
Ludger is good, but not for the same reasons that Yuri is good.

My only complaint about Ludger is that he was basically a mute. I thought we were beyond the days of silent RPG protagonists.

Those are games you're suppose to "inject" yourself or create one that you can relate to though...Tales can't pull that off XP

Of course I have, but I generally don't count TES and Fallout games as part of the problem because A) Western developers just don't know any better, and B) they aren't mainly dialogue-driven the way JRPGs tend to be.

I like Lloyd and I like that figure. Still the Tales series figures is one of those holes I'd like to not jump through. So potentially deep that I feel safer just keeping the one I have. Still though...maybe.

Good point. I'm honestly sick of silent protags too but people can't accept change. Hope P5 gives your character a voice from the start.
It's one of the series that Alter doesn't seem to be stopping with and probably the only figures I'll be buying years from now.

If you haven't played it, go ahead. It's fantastic, but holy shit it's long. 90 hours for most people.
You can still get them on Amazon for somewhat inflated prices. I wouldn't feel bad about spending this much on these two.
I wouldn't be surprised if the Yurisha fig ignited some interest in the collection and cleaned out the pre-owned stock. There used to be lots of Meldas and Makotos on amiami for 5-6k.
