Is there any unit in JPN that has a better fire decrease resistance than Seven with Elementalslash ? I would just bring her along for Bosses where Yun is vital, - 50% sounds massive.
I havent played around with the Chaining system yet - but i wanna use Chiz,Gilgamesh, Yun ..and maybe Lightning if she fits in. What would be the right skill order to maximize damage ? Also would 2 Chiz instead of one make a big difference ?
You can sell them if you already used them to craft everything you need.
But I haven't purposely used my musical notes. Just since my last post I had 4 notes, and now I go to check and I have 0, and all I did was level up a unit and complete the Ariana event again. I don't understand it.
You'll be grinding earth shrine, so yeah, any level really.
Hmmm...are you sure you didnt sell them ? They are used to craft Arianas Gear but thats all. Did you check on the Material screen or the Item one ?
I go to Forge > Craft > Click on item > and it says held: 0.
[edit] Oh shit, I just checked out Items and it says I have 52. Then I don't understand why I can't Forge these materials.

Balthier, Fire Veritas, Tim, Seven, Nyx, Marie, Illus, Kamui all have stronger tier Fire Resistance down.
Okay so Earth shrine then? I'm currently fighting Leviathin and I think I'm close to finishing the current story.
Ironically Vaan was my reroll character back in May 2016. Now he is just bench warmer :/. He gets 6* awakening but it aint so flashing. Also Vaan's TM is not great either, so you can fuse Vaan to another, keep one copy of him. Good thing in Vaan is that he has Steal ability for Steal trophy

Yeah i meant if someone has a stromger fire res down than Seven w. Elementalslash - doesnt seem like there are abilities with more than -50% fire res down. So Seven as a debuff wont be topped anytime soon.
Ah damn, so Lenna is worth something too? I'll check out the unit list when I get home. Seems like I could level her up and at least make her part of my secondary part, if she gets some kind of healing abilities. Or else I'll just have to unlock Fina.
[edit] Ahhh damn, I found out why I couldn't craft Ariana's stuff. It's because I was holding the musical notes. I had to remove them. So now I have crafted all of her stuff. But I think I should make her a glove for each hand if she can do that.
The basic premise of TM farming is just repeating Earth Shrine with your TM team. Every mission you do has a 10% chance per unit to raise their trust by 0.1%. You can combine units to combine their trust (and an additional +5%), so doing multiples is easier than single units.
However, I should warn you that TM farming is incredibly monotonous and not something that is needed, or even intended in the game ATM, and most of us that do it, are somehow automating it.
There are enough Trust Moogles in the game that you can finish a key TM in a few months with events and arena rewards, which I suppose is the intended way to finish off a TM.
Regardless, if you still want to do it, there's Switch Controls on iOS, FREP on Android, and a number of emulators on PC/Mac. Or you could do it manually, but like I said, it's not a lot of fun and will most likely change your view of the game

Maximilian is still the best armor in the game.
Also Vaan is outshined by better units, and the problem is that Faris also offers the Full Break + Focus combo in one unit, and i find faris a better unit than vaan
But yeah, he can be useful if you build him right and dont have anything better

I have a yellow star and blue star trust moogle. Trying to figure out who to use them on.
Is there really any need to have more than one Excalibur, for instance? Otherwise I have a ways to go before I get that, which is my closest one. May fuse all my Cecil's and use my.trust moogles on Zidane for more than one dual wield.

I was obviously hoping for a 5 star base but even Exdeath, COD, Gilgamesh, Cecil etc. would've been nice. Just hoping when I go all out for Orlandu that I'll at least pull some of the more essential units.
Dualcast Refia is truly a game changer. I haven't had much issues dealing with ELT Beast Nian because of her. Being able to double Curaja or put up both Barfira and Barthundara in one turn is so good. It really makes the esper kill a lot more manageable since you can delay it as much as you need to.

Anyone know which limited-time 6* units are not in the rare summons pool outside their timed/themed event? Here's my short list:

Her TM seems to be a good equipment, and if you don't have Refia or Luluka/Luka in your party, she's good from what I heard as a healer(I pulled Refia so never had trouble).

Anyone else having problems with the arena? Every time I've tried to enter in the last four hours I've gotten a black screen of death. Sent a support ticket and I've reinstalled/restored to no avail. Keeps happening. More infuriatingly I'm 100 rank exp from a level. My orbs are now full again and so is my nrg...I went to send my last orb to get back up to five with the level up...now I'm in limbo and too pissed to level an lose out.
Im super compromised with your project man. I really love to do this, so you have my sword until the end of the game

Looks like you got them all, though I guess Ling and Yun should go on there too. Also Tilith and Maxwell at least are getting a 6* later, don't know if they count.

This one is even easier to do but a little bit slower as it use auto which cause all units to attack.

It does seem like it would help a decent amount, and I could always keep my phone plugged in/charging over night so I can TM farm and still have a fully-charged phone the next day.

Seven eluded me too. I thought I was the only one here who didn't get her, and I pulled every day (as well as used a few tickets). Luka I got multiple of though, but wasn't really needed since I have Tilith. I also didn't get Ling yet, but there's still several days left of dailies. I hope we're both lucky on that end!

Yeah I'm happy with my pulls so far and now just need to work on maxing my Ling out! I love seeing you on friends list with your Yun. Such a great unit to pull.
I know he's probably not optimal right now, and I could probably put a more strong character in the Friend Slot...but damn it, he's my first 5* base so he's going to be my Leader! I'm farming TM's now to increase his usefulness, so hopefully it won't be too long. I have a few Trust Moogle that I've been hoarding too, so I'll probably push those towards an early Kaiser Knuckles. I want him geared out ASAP. I want to see that 900+ attack!
Nooooo use them on Yun's! I had 70% in moogles saved up in the hopes I get him, but that seems doubtful at this point.

I'm thinking I might slot in Fencer TM instead of one of the ATK materia, but that's another TM to farm and will be done after I complete the other...seven. Holy hell, SEVEN TM to farm? Welp.
Hmm, is Yun the better option? I don't really have many nice fist weapons right now, but I guess if the +30% ATK is that good, I could always go that route first.
You get 30% of your full potted base ATK. On Yun that's (150+34)*0.3 = 55. Kaiser Knuckles have 50 more attack than the Beast Cestus, so the armor better by 5 ATK.

I think Ill try to do the ELT event tonight. I don't have much confidence in my turn-base aptitude to do it though. I really want that trust moogle. That whip wouldn't hurt either.

Finally got around to looking at the play book and good god man, you guys sure as hell did an amazing job with it. This is damn near a prima games strat guide for FFBE lol. Great job to all parties involved.

Once the Great Sword Mastery materia becomes available, you can actually squeeze about more attack than this for Yun, heh.
