True, but ppl leaves if there's no AoE LB.
And sometimes is hard to organize people or is hard that they follow the instructions, which leads to wiping which in turn leads to ppl leaving...
This^ so much this.

I keep seeing this...but is the DRG rotation really that hard?
HT+FR+PH -> ID+DI+CT -> TT+VT+FT
reapply HT and DI/CT as needed and mix in BFB, IR, LS and the other abilities, get creative as the situation demands.
which macro/skills?Rotation? lol
More like, put DoTs up and spam that macro.
I wonder if Square is going to do anything about the speed runners for both WP and AK.

Is hard when you add jumps, buff and DOTS, with position req mixed. Seems so much extra work compared to other classes...
That's a lot more effort to do less DPS than a lesser geared Bard or Monk.
That rotation includes all that. I don't like to add in jumps in a lot of fights since the recovery animation will fuck you over. As for positioning, it's just flank and back, like, literally a step to the right and left.
I mean, I played a Hunter in WoW, so I know what it's like to be extremely lazy and do high DPS.
Well, I don't think mine is that demanding, but that just makes me wonder what the hell Bards and Monks have to do.
I keep saying they need to reward clearing packs of mobs, not punish the speed running itself.

They did this with solo/party play with ARR, so hopefully they keep going with that design choice when fixing that "issue"
Thanks, you said you crafted alot of your gear, can you pick up multiple professions as well? I think I just hit lvl 7 but haven't found a way to unlock crafting and gathering jobs yet and my buddy that was showing me the ropes hadn't tried crafting yet
Well it's irritating to dodge stuff as a DRG and have your shit fall off and need to be reapplied. Also bosses just love turning around so you'll miss that heavy thrust buff. Ugh, very frustrating.

Bard: Steady Shot, Venom bite, Windbite, Heavy shot/Bloodletter macro spam with ZERO positional requirements.
It's basically 4 buttons with only one of them being pressed 95% of the time. It's really, REALLY easy.
Also, Bard has a lower GCD from what I can tell. DRG's GCD takes a year.
I kinda wish that so I don't have to keep missing the accesory chest in AK.
Giving you a few tombstones for each group cleared would help or at the end of the dungeon: extra tombs for killing all mobs.
Does your group get a primal weapon after each HM of a primal? I've done Iffy twice and had a weapon drop twice.

Apologies if old. IGN just gave this game an 8.6

Btw, fellow DRGs, do you guys ever use Feint? We don't seem to use it on Titan (is he immune?).
That's impressive, especially considering the game was basically brought back from the dead and improved into something truly incredible.Apologies if old. IGN just gave this game an 8.6

Finally home. Looking forward to getting back into the game.

by the way i need to ask. Has anyone else here at level 50 during a duty finder run. Ran into people who are complete dicks? Is it just me or did it get way worse at level 50 then it did trying to level up. I swear, the last few runs I've done the last few days has been rough dealing with complete ignorant morons.
Reading Reddit, it is amazing how many people just don't get how Scholar works (or even expect to make it work by putting all points into INT and using cleric stance, which is just... just... oh wow)
Like, I don't see anyone mentioning that actually half your heals come from your fairy, who can cast a minor regen, who also increase the potency of your own heal, who can be roused on an emergency, who shields the party from magical damage.
And then people go "half our heal is a shield", and I may be alone in this, but my standard heal isn't Adloquium (which has a 300 potency + shield), but the standard Physick (which has a 400 potency without the shield). That 100 extra potency has to matter, because people always worry about how they heal just a little with their Scholars and I never had trouble on that particular front. The shield is only a factor when the boss do some big AoE thing that hits everyone and then you do Succor and it comes with the shield, which is good to help keep the health of the DPS while you keep focused on the tank.
I mean, I'm only lvl 45 and haven't done the big problem which seems to be Amdor Keep, but in all, I didn't even had a difficult fight regarding to healing and I done all the dungeons so far 3 or 4 times, with PUG tanks of all skills and kept them all alive, thank you very much.
Really tho, I think people just underastimated the fairy, whatever I'm healing with Physick, it's almost the same that she is healing with Embrace, plus, again, I can rouse her, also, she is usually pretty good at healing people while I am still moving, like on Darkhold where bosses demand you move all the time, your fairy can keep the heal pretty all right while you are frantically running around. Make sure your little gal is doing her stuff and everyone will be happy.
45 levels in, I have 0 issues with the job.

Hate management is quite a bitch in this game. Abilities like Regen will give you more than a headache and the lag between the hate bars and what is actually happening is a bitch to deal, then you have jobs like BRD that can be hate machines or ppl in general that won't give you room to breath because they won't slow down no matter what. Lucklily Shield Oath (for PLD) makes things a bit easier.
The best you can do on early levels is to spam Flash and keep you weapon updated, the more dmg you do the more it will help you in these levels. Later you can start switching target to spread you enmity combos while using Flash after finishing one.
To be honest sometimes tanking trash mobs (or being in stun duty) is harder than actual bosses. AK bosses are a joke to tank for example or even Ifrit which is incredibly easy to tank too. Garuda seems harder but looks like the meat of the job falls in the other party members.

You are looking at the bubble heal all wrong, it's not a 300 potency heal, it's a 600 potency heal that can avoid overhealing. You don't just throw them out though, you just try to keep the bubble up on the tank, it can save the tanks ass later on in combo with Lustrare, which is the best heal in the game, even more so when healing a Warrior.Reading Reddit, it is amazing how many people just don't get how Scholar works (or even expect to make it work by putting all points into INT and using cleric stance, which is just... just... oh wow)

The community around 45+ is absolutely toxic and disgusting. Absolutely mind blowing. If you aren't a pro at the game only 2 weeks after its release, go home. Disgusting. Not to mention people raging when someone is watching the story/ Are you kidding?
I continue to consider quitting. Just gross.
Are you even serious? Please tell me it's a joke
As a Dragoon you have to try and keep up not one... not two but FIVE abilities at the same time.
Heavy Thrust, Phlebotomize, Disembowel, Fracture and Chaos Trust.
And then, you need to switch back between Flank and Back...
Not that this is all too hard, but find it a bit dissapointing that a faceroll DPS like the Bard can dish more constant (and higher as I understand) than something with somewhat complexity.
As someone else said, a DPS can easily get that accessory chest on the way. As a healer, I just simply ask a DPS if they mind swinging by the chest. Yeah, they might die, but should be in range of a Raise, np.
If I want to dabble with both SCH and SMN, would it make sense to stack all my bonus points into MND then use Cleric Stance when on SMN?
I've only been playing SMN up to this point (37), I just had the prereqs for SCH when I hit 30.

That won't work, because SMN can't use cleric stance, only SCH can.
