I like to roll solo with said skills though. It's just such a confusing system. It looks like it's encouraging you to develop a lot of classes to have a wide range of skills but once you hit 30 it's basically telling you to forget about it. It really looks like its just some left over thing from 1.0. Classes with unique skills combos should be viable for something.

You have to be in fullscreen mode and gamma has to be at default I think with the 4x. Although, the game with my GTX 670 runs pretty slow with even 4x so I just went back to default AA since I wanted to keep my framerate stable.
 
Well my framerate was complete shit with HDR on and was fine with it off...I thought most games won't allow both at the same time anyway. Maybe I"m thinking of something else.
 
Anyone have a link to pictures of the PVP gear they showed in the conference today? Or may be just a wrap up of all the content? Thanks.
 
So the Hyur seem like the best race. Bulky, yet not out of portion like the Hellguard. Stats seem the best for a Lancer as well.

Now onto gods.

What's the most played class and race btw?

And are the servers stable? I heard about lots of errors in the beginning and I assume 90k means ping spikes?

I think male Hyur Highlander is the most played race.
 
Neat little thing I found tonight playing on my Bard. The Shadowbind move say it will unbind the target if it takes damage, which makes sense. You can still dot it up and bind it, and it will sit there for the full duration taking damage from the dots while bound. Pretty neat. If it doesn't get fixed I'm sure it will be useful for PvP. I doubt its intended to work like that but who knows.

so it works the same for sleep? as long as you dot it up first I assume.

and umm okay so it was known awhile ago but I'm sure its not common knowledge for the majority of the players. It was a personal discovery I thought I would share in case people didn't know. my bad lol.... jeez

Hyur Midlander is the most played, supposedly, but I could swear I see more female Miqo'te than anything else. It's like an infestation of creepy furries.

And those little ... things are in abundance too. Yuck.

Google around a bit and you'll definitely find what you're looking for. I have yet to see a properly laid out, useful resource that has everything in one place. I'm sure that's just a matter of time though.

The other way to interpret that is, he's talking about the "development environment" which implies pre-release code. So maybe they have already made their planned buffs and the devs are playing around with them and liking what they are seeing.

Either way, I'm not planning on waiting 3 months for them to fix WAR at endgame. They better do whatever it is they are planning to do before 2.1.

What's wrong with WAR? That'll be my next class after DRG.
 
Got a surprise invite to the GAF FC on Ultros today. What a great surprise. Currently rocking my 27LNC.

Edit: Quick question about Jobs. I just read this on a wiki:

The level of your Dragoon is equivalent to that of your Lancer.

Does this in fact mean that my DRG will automatically be Lv30 when I unlock it? Does this also mean that my LNC will level up if I Lv up as DRG?

I remember hearing about this back before 1.0 came out and was super excited for it. Can't wait to hear more about this since crafting is oddly satisfying in this game.

You definitely could use a lot more Darklight gear especially since its so easy to farm CM for it.
