The gameplay itself seemed like the barest glimpse of a concept, a hybrid between the Witcher 2 and maybe Xenoblade.

Wow, It's really underwhelming. Aliasing galore and the graphics aren't really impressive compared to MGS5 or The Witcher 3. Animations looked clunky during the battles too. The car looked really dumb. I wonder what happened there.

The combat animations are really bad though. I hope there is some variation to it. Noctis & Co. are always doing the same attacks with the same weapons in every single trailer they showed. :X

The knights are the same ones that attack the city in the 2013 E3 trailer. They look like the grunts for the opposing country or whatever.

I agree. It seems a little confused regarding what it wants to accomplish art-direction wise.

Hopefully in the game it links all of this together though. Am hyped at the scope of this game for sure!

Looks pretty fucking tight actually. I like how it finally shows off the open ended nature of the game which is what had me worried for the longest time. Now it's confirmed we're getting a good variety of areas and open spaces to explore which is just awesome.
