It's basically about who we are as humans and the fate that's coming due to our own negligence and complicity. But the CRUX of the show is the relationship between Faraday (Chiwetel Ejiofor) and Justin Falls (Naomie Harris) and her family. In fact, the show is ALL about family... As there are 3 families either in opposition to, or allied with, Faraday.

It was captivating to me. The first episode hooked me IN!

Probably due to how poorly the show was rated. By the looks of it, the David Bowie original was better.

You could technically say it's a sequel. Regardless of how people feel about the show and story, Chiwetel Ejiofor was incredible at acting the part. My only gripe with the show was that it should have been planned as one season.
