if anybody who uses firefox doesn't have the stumbleupon extension, they should get it immediately. it's a search bar that doesn't actually search - instead, you pick a list of interests first, and then when you search it takes you to a random website from among those interests. over time it gets more accurate to what you're into, and only gives you really really kickass websites. it's like channel surfing on the internet, only get only stuff you like.

I'll give it a try when I get home from work. I'm really getting bored sick of the Internet, so maybe this will inject some life into it again.

Yeah, I've had Stumble! installed for about a week and really dig it. It can take you to some really goofy places. One cool thing is, if you're the first person to say "I like it!" on a web site you can add a little blurb about the site - sort of a "So-and-so was here first!" which is cool.

hmmm... i always assumed it'd be a stupid idea to go to random sites that people i don't know like going to. but now i feel intrigued to try that extension out!

Oh, and if everyone is getting slow speeds on this forum.. try adblocking (firefox extension) the wildcards:

http://a.as-us.falkag.net/* & http://a.as-eu.falkag.net/*

I've noticed a lot of popular forums are turning to falkag solutions. They specialize in anti pop-up blocking software.. pretty dodgy if you ask me. I don't mind the few banners on GA, but Falkag is just wrong.

wow! for me, who just go in my bookmarked website, this tool is great

Microsoft boss Bill Gates was photographed by the Albuquerque, New Mexico police in 1977 after a traffic violation (details of which have been lost over time).
