I always liked how smooth Opera scrolled when viewing very large pictures. Firefox seems to be a bit tacky. Is there an extension for Firefox that lets you smooth scroll when viewing pictures?

You mean the Firefox placeholders thing?

If so... about:config in address bar > browser.display.show_image_placeholders > set it to false

uhhhh whatevs...

btw why does everyone recommend Adblock plus over regular Adblock? Plus was confusing and it didn't work as simple and effective as the regular to me.

Guys I don't want to make a new topic about it, but I can't watch anything that's flash anymore in Firefox 3 Beta 2.

It used to work but now it just keeps saying that I haven't installed the newest Flash Player. And whenever I try to install that it just failes the install.

What to do :( !

adblockplus, surfkeys, keyconfig, greasemonkey, stylish and google browser sync are without question vital to my browsing needs.

Ive updated the OP with a brief explanation of what my extensions do and how they are helpful. Hopefully some of you can go back and edit your post to show why you are using the ones you are using and what they do.

Ive also decided to disable Forecast Fox since there was an annoying weather popup ever 10 minutes. If someone can tell me how to shut that off I would enable that app again.

When the last upgrade happened I removed all my extensions and started over. The only ones I kept:

Bug Me Not (passwords)
Firebug (debugging)
Free Download Manager Plug-In (think this came with the program)
Freecorder Toolbar (records any streaming audio)
PinLens (great if you browse picture sites)
StumbleUpon (random sites)
TrashMail (creates disposable email addresses, great for forum registrations!)
