I want to say that I just think you should play it yourselves. It's worth it. So if you're here out of curiosity and haven't played it, try to go and do so first.
Yes, seconding the above. You'll be happier sticking to the OT and reviews until you've played through!
It comes out tomorrow btw - Tuesday, Feb 9th.
PC comes out sometime in the morning Pacific time (11am is the target). PS4 comes out hopefully near then, but it will be some time inside Sony's release window.
Same. I have my impressions ready to post, and just dying to to talk about thisYeah, but I feel this was created early because some of already played, Gaf has some reviewers.
I cant wait to talk about it, just waiting for the embargo to lift in 1 and a half hour
Nothing supernatural.Ok, so the same question here. Any horror/supernatural elements in the game?
I'm really interested in this but if it got anything supernatural, it's not for me.
Alright, that's all I needed to know. Time to stay out of this thread.Nothing supernatural.
Any jump scares? I hate those lol.
Pork Pond
Well based on the PlayStation All Access video, you find a notebook with a drawing of a nude male and he is anatomically correct. What is pork pond?
Also, what's the content advisory like in re: nudity et al?

What are they referencing? Can we talk how awesome these easter eggs are? I instantly fell in love with Campo Santo devs because of these

Yeah jump scares will be a deciding factor on buying this tomorrow.

A minor one that's even "optional".
if you find the raccoon
Oh i found
that place on the very last day, with the fire going on, and when i opened the boiler door the little dude jumped at me
Does the game always end withDelilah going off and encouraging Henry to return to Julia? I played through twice with very different choices and actions, hoping to trigger at least a different conversation, but it ended up in the same place both times....
So can we talk about the ending? Or too soon?
What are they referencing?
But I feel like I missed something. I mean, there has to be something more to the story, right? The mysterious station, the high tech gear, the reports about how much Henry and Delilah can be manipulated. Those things don't fit in with the simple story of Ned and his son and all that. One guy set all that up?
Actually I watched the Always Funny discussion and there's a reason for that stuff to be thereKinda disappointed that we could not see more of H and D relationship. It felt like wasted opportunity to me at least.
And then the plot point also felt...forced? It feels like this is something I can't believe. It was like watching an X Files episode when you expect a normal romp of characters and stuff. Oh and that pay off was awful, how do you expect me to believe that a hermit could wiz up so much tech like that.
I enjoyed what I gotten in the end anyway.Unless there is more! maybe.
Okay, I found the game satisfying but also the final reveal was kind of disappointing. At first I thought they were doing a Shutter Island kind of set-up, some kind of therapy or something to help with his coping with his wife.
Need to grab the pitons from the fort and loop around back to the caveI have a question. I'm outside the cave and found the little fort. How am I supposed to go back to the cave? I've been stuck for a good 30 minutes.
Make sure you pick up all the items in the kids hideout... If you have "it", look for cracks in rocks walls.I have a question. I'm outside the cave and found the little fort. How am I supposed to go back to the cave? I've been stuck for a good 30 minutes.
