I think you should expect a lot of people to disagree with your opinion. What are you looking for in a Spiderman movie that you haven't gotten?
I'm personally concerned with how Rhino looks right now. I want them to avoid realistic interpretations and just really do justice to the source material.

Eh, I think 1 has some redeeming qualities that get lost in multiple balls in the air that the movie was trying to juggle. I hope that these qualities are a bit more apparent in the sequel.
Honestly, I like that it seems to be going for a more light hearted approach with this hilarious Rhino caricature. It's what I wanted in a sense. (Though not for Rhino, but Ill take it)

It's embarrassing how far all the other films have fell short in comparison. People can keep making fun of Tobey Maguire's struggle face. But it beats the hell out of the struggle scripts that marvel and DC have pooped out

So, I've seen those pictures before, but...How are they doing Rhino in this movie? Does he have a mech suit? Are they gonna cg in a rhino body? Is he just a dude that calls himself the Rhino?
S3 was terrible, but ASM was pretty fun, you should see it. Not as good as S1, but, definitely an acceptable reboot. Besides a few minor plotholes/oddities.

I will not judge you until I know what you think of Amazing Spiderman in contrast to Raimi's renditions.
Anyways, the costume for ASM 2 is the best one we've seen on screen, no more yellow eyes. But I know the movie will be rushed garbage. Editing out Mary Jane is a bad sign. One day, Sony will sell the franchise back to Marvel. And all will be right in the world. Until then, I wait.

What I'd do for one more Raimi Spidey film.
Should never have rebooted. Should have made a Spiderman 4, have Tobey and Kirsten back. Their daughter was killed crossing the street while Spidey was off saving someone else's kid. He blames himself, angry individual, even worse than when he was black suit spidey in #3.
Turns out the driver purposely ran over the daughter, his name was Cletus, he's a sick fuck who becomes Carnage. Could have ended the series this way. Instead, we get a fashion model as Spidey who can't really act, is awkward, a story that made little sense, pacing and direction was really off. And the movie which usually broke box office records, did pretty sub-par numbers.

Yeah, it's definitely an unpopular opinion. I went to go see the third one with a group of friends, on the way back from it the girl I was with was gushing about how Nolan was an artist and it was a masterpiece. I was just like, "Eh, it was okay I guess..."
Oh man. If they had just gone Carnage/Venom in the third movie, that would have maybe made up for emo Parker. But they would probably have ruined Carnage like they ruined Venom.

I thought Maguire was great for the script he had. I wouldn't really care if Raimi replaced him with an actor he thought would be more suited to his script. I wouldn't even mind if it were a standalone film, unconnected to any trilogy.
Spider-Man 2 is easily the best superhero movie made to date and I have trust in Raimi's vision if he were to agree to make a new Spidey flick.

The story's shit, has typical Origin story problems dragging it down, but Garfield is genuinely a great Spiderman.

They went too much with the 'whole world shitting on parker' and went overboard with it to the point of parody.
I was feeling the same way, everyone put TDK on a huge pedestal then cried over TDKR. Me? I thought it was better than TDK.

While I love the Raimi films (1 & 2), I'm not so upset that there's a reboot. Raimi's had a little too much cheese for me, Toby was a bad Spider-Man and Mary Jane was just Mary Jane in name. Garfield is an amazing
Spider-Man, Emma Stone is good but the plot was just a rehash of the original with more plot holes.
So Raimi got the story and action right while Webb got the casting right and the suit perfectly.
