The plastic look is more accurate than this gens stuff. You run all the time in soccer (football for non-Americans) and you sweat tons.

I was afraid of seeing "plastic zombie" modeling for sports games.. and my fear is coming true. I'm kinda indifferent if Winning Eleven would even any better in terms of graphics...

well, I guess I'll just have to wait and see. If they animate more realistically and improve the general gameplay from fundamental level (including Winning Eleven series), I would be very happy.

Seriously folks I think some of you are really forgetting what you're games currently look like on your Xbox's, PS2's and GC's.

Just from that ONE picture I can already see all of this:
-real Grass...obviously
-specular maps on character models(sweat)
-self shadowing
-clothing that actually looks like clothing
-world lighting and shadowing...check out the clouds and how the stadiums are shadowed.
-ball looks like it's deforming the grass

From the stadium it looks like EA are currently using the PS2 models, except for the player. Compare that to Madden where the stadium model is supposedly 50x more detailed. Its a matter of FIFA 06 on X360 being half-assed, nothing to do with hardware capability.
