This is over the last 10 years. Some make it seem like they have a poor track record but they really don't. Add on how much the team has changed with the development of Horizon (adding external RPG devs to help them) and there is little to draw a basis for that particular complaint. This is essentially a fresh start for them all around.

It is more like, "I don't like Killzone, so I am not confident in Horizon". That is fine, of course, but I don't know why it gets conflated with the incorrect notion that GG has bad history.

Oh great! Now we are in pre-review Uncharted 4 territory with people wanting this game to get bad reviews. Are you guys gonna come into thread and post "lol meltdowns" even though there is none to be found?

Of course they are. ppl are being open that they want drama you think they aren't
 
I think the Review thread will be mediocre like the UC4 , as people expected some big meltdowns but nothing happened, although there will be some unique reviews like Washington posts , which will lead to some drama. But i don't see any big drama to be happen.

This is different, this is only one review and its without a Score. lots of comment are about the credibility of the reviewer and the review itself. In the Review thread ,we will get a clear idea of the Metacritic with in an hour and if its anything between 85-90 , the thread will be mediocre, Thats my thoughts.

It's a one-week early embargo demonstrating strong publisher confidence.
With this kind of embargo, there's a high chance that the thread will be boring because the confidence is telegraphed.

There's a 90% chance tomorrow will turn out one of two ways.

Higher likelihood :
Games score in the mid-to-high 80s range
Some 10s, Some 9s, More 8s, Some 7/6s
Minor meltdowns on the 7s/6s
Good game overall with all the flaws that has been noted since the previews of the game such as poor AI, poor melee combat, some systems not deep, etc, but still a good game
Boring review thread since it reviews like majority of good games

Lower likelihood:
Games scores in the 90+ range
A lot of 10s/9s. Some 6-8s
Minor meltdowns on the 7s/6s
Great game where GG step above expectations to prove themselves with not only a good game, but an excellent one with a strong identity, but also still a lot of room for improvement
Less boring thread, but still boring.

There's of course a smaller chance it'll be a huge misread by Sony like QB and end up being a 75+ game only, but as per my list of games, out of 20+ early embargo games this gen... only 1 missed the mark.

I just want to have a good time on GAF. Nothing wrong about that. Meltdowns on either side, I'm here for it. Most importantly though, I want it to be a great game.

But also meltdown gifs.

Yes , it can go down as you have presented.that is why i am saying untill it is below 80 , which its not seems to be, the review thread will be a bore.

My god you are lucky. Im contemplating wether i should just save up for the Pro and the KS8000 which will take me time to amass. Or just screw it all and go with my launch PS4 that sounds like an engine and spits out discs.

I feel like this is going to be the first PS4 Pro moment that's going to set a benchmark for graphics, and I want to savour all that in its full 4k glory and be part of history lol XD

No pro for me. I'm going to start saving for horizon 2 on Playstation 5. :D
