First mention of Ninja Gaiden DS?

I believe it was always mentioned that there was a Team Ninja game for DS, but it was never said to be Ninja Gaiden. Anyone else know anything?
 
The game will be a system seller as everyone will need to buy another one after stabbing the touchscreen to death with the stylus after dying for the 10000th time in the first level.

Of course this is my personal feeling so it may differ from what the fans desire. You should survey your readers by asking if TeamNINJA should be working on Ninja Gaiden 2 or revive Tecmo Bowl.

This makes me sad. I was hoping for a game involving the DOA girls and the use of of the touch screen somehow. I don't want to touch Ryu Hayabusa.
 
yeah, watch it be NG 1, 2, and 3, like the SNES collection. God knows that is about the best the DS could do graphically anyway.

Funny thing is that if it was just NG Trilogy that actually emulated the NES version I know I would pick it up.

And as soon as I got Mario 64 DS with my DS I drew boobies. Then I held L, dragged it a bit and let go. *JIGGLE*JIGGLE* I did that for a solid 10 minutes.

same here. I can't find the Trilogy that was released on SNES anywhere and would buy a cart with the three games on it in a heartbeat. faster, even.
 
Hmm that's quite the unexpected love the DS is getting lately. I'm honestly surprised that's not coming out for the PSP, mostly because i don't see any possibly good use of the stylus here. Maybe the DS is getting the 2D ones, and PSP a 3D one?

All the love makes me hope for Revolution though. Maybe Nintendo is finally getting their 3rd party stuff together.
