This isn't doing a billion, you guys are crazy.
Yep, that's actually 100% everything.
The Iron Spider suit looks AMAZING. My jaw dropped. Would love to see it in motion.
Pepper Potts was the biggest surprise of the movie for me.
this still gives me chills, especially those opening few seconds. i know some people aren't fond of elfman's work on the raimi spider-man films but i love it so much.people watching spidey right now
and i'm just sitting here listening to this and getting hype as fuck
Every film with Iron Man since 2012 has made over a billion. It's not that crazy of a prediction.
Holy crap, so all of it was true after all!!!Yep, that's actually 100% everything.

I have one question: How is the action?

I honestly thought it could have been a good interjection to give us some Uncle Ben but he thinks of Tony instead for inspiration.

Ok, that sounds very neat, I guess there will be quite a bit of Spider Man vs Vulture scenes, kinda like Spider Man vs Doc Ock in Spider Man 2.Great. Spider-Man swinging is something to see and the Vulture REALLY works here. He looks so scary flying and I loved the way they actually had him putting on the suit.
lol yeah some people on here won't be happy about that
I think this is my supervillain origin.

How does the Vulture rank compared to past MCU villains?
My curiosity got the better of me and I read the spoiler.
I think this is my supervillain origin.
How's the score?
Is it drowned out by diegetic sound?
Just got out of the theater. It's the best Spider-Man movie hands down.
If you have questions, fire away.
Oh, it's another serviceable score then? I was expecting more from Giacchino.Honestly I don't really remember it. No strong themes that I can recall. Nothing bad either. It did its job and I wouldn't say it was drowned out.
I blame Apes dammit! (Another dope ass movie coming)
Baby Driver, Spider-Man HC, and Apes all withing 3 weeks of each other.
What a time to be alivegaffer.
Is the cartoon theme song-based track saved for the credits, or is it used in the movie?
it's a seemingly good spider man movie
mark it 8, dude
During the Marvel logo, the Spidey theme plays.
Works well in hyping you up.
Yeah I don't see it hitting a billion, especially with Apes the week after and all the great buzz that's getting.
Every Spidey film, even ASM2 has made at least $700 million overall, so if this can make $800 million I think Marvel/Sony would be happy.

I liked Fly-By-Night Operation but thought the Suite was rather blah. Was hoping the individual themes would work better.Based off the samples I wasn't expecting anything amazing honestly, a lot of the score seems all over the place anyway.
That's good news!Apparently Giacchino's score for War for the Planet of the Apes is one of if not his best work. So, at least there's that.
It honestly does the "Peter Parker" part the best of all the Spider-Man movies, better than Raimi's 2 even.
it's going to fucking steamroll apes if the word of mouth is strong
dunkirk too
How much is Tony/Iron Man in the film by your estimation? Does he upstage Spider-Man at all?
Does he ditch all the dumb Stark tech aspects of the suit like the drone and the AI in order to rely on his own skills? Is it true that rather than Peter developing his own alternate forms of webbing, Tony just did it all for him?

10-15 minutes tops. I mean he saves Spidey during the Ferry scene but thats the only upstaging scene.
Tony takes Peter's special suit after this and the entire final fight with the Vulture is Peter having to rely on his crappy home made one with shitty web shooters. Tony does make all the alternate webbing for him, which he essentially accesses by having Ned hack past the "training wheels" in the suit

Ok rank all superhero movies I want to compare your tastes with mine
How "smart" would you say they make Peter?
Super genius comics Pete or just "smarter high school student" Pete?
Don't need specific situations.
Dunkirk sure. Apes I doubt. Spidey will probably do massive internationally but will have some competition domestically. Can't forget despicable me 3 comes out this week as well.it's going to fucking steamroll apes if the word of mouth is strong
dunkirk too
