Maul SkywalkerSo will this be one of those shows focusing on a villain where:
- We learn they aren't actually that bad and are mostly misunderstood.
- They take a beloved badass character and emasculate him by making him non threatening and lame.
- Despite the show being name after them, they end up feeling like a side character.
- All of the above (like Book of Boba Fett)
He does have a female apprentice in this so, maybe.- Despite the show being name after them, they end up feeling like a side character.
It's animated in the Clone Wars style btw

No a female Twi'lek. Some people think that she could be Darth Talon. George Lucas wanted to see Maul and Talon together in a Story, but they didn't really exist at the same time in the old timeline. But he never really gave a shit about the expanded universe and with the new canon it doesn't really matter so I think they used Lucas idea for this show.Emilia Clarkes character from Solo????

Come on, doesn't it keep you up all night, every night, just wondering what Dr. Evazan did, PRECISELY, to earn "the death sentence in twelve systems"? I know this has been explored in the EU, but surely it's deserving of its own 6 part, 25 million per episode, series, right????Ah come on, go to a new planet, do a new story, new aliens, whatever. Stop the endless legacy character slop.
I'd be so down for a Dr. Evazan and Ponda Baba series. It'd be a nice excuse to see Ando.Come on, doesn't it keep you up all night, every night, just wondering what Dr. Evazan did, PRECISELY, to earn "the death sentence in twelve systems"? Lightsabers have always been related with male erections for the way they turn on.This have potential to talk about sexual orientation.
Dexter style show about Dr. Evazan. But his dark passenger is Ponda Baba.Come on, doesn't it keep you up all night, every night, just wondering what Dr. Evazan did, PRECISELY, to earn "the death sentence in twelve systems"? A friendly George Lucas entered the room and was eager to hear the pitch from Red Flys creatives. Before they could finish their spiel, Lucas cut them off, stood up, walked over to the statues, rotated them to be facing the same direction, pushed them together, and said Theyre friends! adds the source. He wanted these characters to be friends, and to play off of each other. He talked about the show Burn Notice as a reference point. He likened Darth Maul to Sonny from The Godfather, and he likened Darth Talon to Lauren Bacall. He actually did an impersonation of her. It was supposedly the weirdest impersonation of a 40s actress going, Dont you know how to whistle? Put your lips together and blow.
The problem with the idea of Maul and Talon teaming up for a buddy cop-like experience was that they were separated by over 170 years of Star Wars fiction as ridiculous of an idea as Frédéric Chopin forming a band with Dave Grohl. When this vast time divide was brought up to Lucas attention, he brushed off the notion of it not working, and said that it could instead be a descendant of Darth Maul or a clone of him.
