How do honest, principled Republicans come to terms with belonging to the party of institutionalized voter disenfranchisement? Because they admit it openly - the less people vote, the better off they'll be, it isn't a secret to anyone involved. How does one proclaim to love our republic and then go on and fuck it up the ass? The ends justify the means?
Unfortunately so with those kind of people. People like that have always been in it for themselves throughout history.
Fun fact: The U.S. tried to buy Florida from Spain before, but Spain didn't want to. the reason we have Florida is because Georgia and Alabama didn't like that there was a place for runaway slaves and natives who were hostile to the U.S. So Andrew Jackson rode in and caused an international incident by executing three British merchants and a number of native chiefs, then left. Spain came to the conclusion that they couldn't protect the area and sold it to the U.S. in 1819
