One of the more heated debates in my household is the use of standard floss, versus those little plastic flossers.

I'm very much on #TeamFlosser, as they're just so handy, easy to carry around, and do a great job. But, admittedly, they also produce far more waste than standard floss. (But I also eat off of paper plates for lunch everyday, so whatever.)

Furthermore, I use the flossers that have TWO floss strings on them, for double the clean. They absolutely can't be beat and I will die on this hill.

Yeah but I can't stand normal flossers so it's really my only option

I use those plastic floss things as well. My hands and fingers are big so it's very difficult not to have them get saliva on them while using regular floss

Normal good old floss but I double it up.
Then electric brush.
Once or twice a week (I should do more) I use a pikster (interdental brush).

I can't use any floss as it just gets stuck between my teeth.

Water 'picks' do work.

Really though, I just properly clean my teeth and then have a dental hygienist throughly clean them twice a year.

Yeah, me too. I can't use floss, but flossers are great.

I still use regular floss, since I feel it gets more stuff, but a water pick does great for gum health. I highly recommend it

The amount of times ive almost took my eye out with it though when drunk is too many to count.

I'm a bit OCD about flossing. I hate having stuff stuck between my teeth. I use this after every single meal, followed by chewing some gum:

I used to use a waterpik, but the battery degraded so much rhst it only maintained full power for half a use. My hygienist said it's not as good as proper floss anyway so I didn't bother replacing it. They're certainly good for getting debris out though, and a lifesaver when I had a sideways wisdom tooth that created a gap for food to sit in.

Now I just use a mix of interdental sticks (bamboo when I can get them, seems wasteful to have plastic throwaway ones) and ribbon floss for the more tightly packed teeth.

I do floss occasionally but I get the blood mouth. But I also find remnants of yesterday’s food. So there is that.
Last dental check up my teeth were good. So I will keep brushing them and flossing occasionally.

Floss before brushing in the evening. If you can brush in the morning as well.

I’m a gross, disgusting person that has never flossed. I use a Sonicare with Arm and Hammer baking soda toothpaste, I HIGHLY recommend a Sonicare if you don’t have one. I’m a smoker and it keeps my teeth pearly white even pushing 50 years old.
Never had a cavity or any dental issues other than a nasty incident with an impacted wisdom tooth in my 20’s.

Flossers are GOAT.

With floss, it's like, what, you expect me to stand in front of a mirror and get all confused because I can never seem to figure out how to move my hands to where they need to be because the dude in the mirror is always moving in the opposite direction from what I expect? Miss me with that.

With flossers, I can absent-mindedly preen while watching YouTube.

Had a water thingy but dropped it and the front broke. Need to get a replacement since theyre better than regular flossing (for me).
