Typical Liverpool. Winning a game they clearly deserved to win.

Bad luck Moyes will prove his doubters wrong sooner or later. We're doing everything right anyway, we just need that little bit of luck in 38 games to top the league next year!

I did an Ancelotti at first when I read this post after seeing your avatar. Well done :lol

Good outlook for us. It's entirely possible we take a point or more off of City and/or Chelsea when they play at Anfield and if we do then it'll be a tight little ass crack of a final few weeks. We're true underdogs given where we finished last year and I think that's going to help us since there can't possibly be pressure to mount a title challenge.

You'd be doing us a massive favour if you took points of City and Chelsea.

Good to see the Eagles love is strong. Do Ajax have to play them again?

Nope.

The system is get it wide for a cross. And that has to be it because there's been a marked regression in our play through the middle. They're the tactics of a man who hasn't a clue what's going wrong so he goes back to first principles.

He's just clean shite.

It's like being one of the shittiest teams isn't offensive enough and they also have to play shitty football. Roma better destroy them.

it's not about their shitty football or their shitty negative tactics. It's about luck.

and it's not about Roma being better either.

it's about luck

Luck will destroy Inter.

or rather, Good luck will destroy Bad luck.

Moyes would never give an interview like this. He'd just say: "Don't know what went wrong, we played well, will take next game as it comes."

Pessimists are less happy, live shorter lives, are less successful and are generally outperformed in every meaningful metric by optimists. I cannot, as a humanist, allow these negative attitudes to pass so easily. Look for the good or bad in performances and you will find it easily (confirmation bias).

I have never, ever let a game we lose ruin my day. Whenever we lose, even during that Hodgson period, I've always gone about my day the same. I'd probably walk out of this room with a smile minutes after if we loss the game, anticipating the next one. The last thing I'd call myself is a pessimist. Words on a forum don't exactly convey a person's emotions, sadly.

I'm proud of this team. proud of how far they've come in such a short period of time. I, however, above all else, want us to be better. Funny thing is we can be. We've regressed in one clear area we excelled in last season and that is weird.

I'd actually prefer a conversation about the game, about how we played. If you'd rather have me never mention anything of this nature again, fine. Have a nice day.

My comment wasn't that serious. Alas, I am always tripped up when trying to convey some sarcasm via text.

Rodgers got his tactics spot on second half, Sterling totally killed the game and made the last half an hour pretty boring tbh but that makes a nice change to King Kolo dropping a clanger. The title dream lives :')

he jumped the right way, they were lucky Stevie G placed it so well.

:lol

4 points behind is a weird position to be in for a title challenge, since you're 2 games away from going top, and only 1 away from being out of it. With just 10 games left and Chelsea having an easy fixture list, this is a title challenge in the loosest sense of the word

The big thing in our favour is the home matches against Chelsea and City. Wonder if certain fans will be disappointed if we finish third.

Out of interest and complete ignorance, is there a chance that playing a qualifying round in the CL could give us enough of a ranking boost to put us in Pot3 for the group stage, where going straight in via 3rd place could consign us to Pot 4?

Can't understate how important Mignolet's beast save was.

Forgot to mention that he was pretty much faultless today, seemed a little more willing to leave his line as well

I think that's more recent though because like you say he is going back to 'basics', generally he has played all type's of line-up's and tactics. Plus, why would you go out and buy Mata if that's the plan? No logic to his thinking or tactics. No building towards anything in particular so can't see it improving any time soon as there is nothing to suddenly 'click' into place.

Good luck anyway, hopefully you end up with a Klopp or RDM as has been suggested to sort things out. Mata was brilliant under RDM, and Kagawa under Klopp so seem like the best fits as those two could make your forward line a monster.

Well done to Liverpool.

That's hard for me to say because I remember when they used to dominate English football but they are playing very nice football at the moment.

No, no, NO! There's no such thing.

Pessimists are the unlucky people and optimists are the lucky ones. One does not simply make their own luck.

especially not in football, at least.

so I guess confuziz was right after all, managers do not matter.

Fuck both of these teams

Fuck Roma on a competitive, professional level

Fuck Inter on a personal, passionate level

what did he do?

Sounded like a veiled criticism of Southampton's tactics of leaving the 2 centrebacks against Sturridge and Suarez, with no DM/fullback sacrificing the pressing and dropping back to support

'if teams want to play 2 vs 2 with these fellas, well, all the best'

Chelsea
City
Liverpool
Arsenal
Spurs
Everton
Man Utd
Newcastle
Southampton

My prediction for the top 9

Because they're just a midtable small time club.

And PSV is coming back in the game. GAE should have scored at least four goals by now ffs :/
