No it's a Thomas Edison quotation - just I saw it and it sounded a lot like Moyes.plz tell me he didn't say that.

We'll end up getting Europa anyway, Spurs are worse than us.If Arsenal drop out of the top 4 and win the FA Cup, 7th gets Europa League (in July) which would set United back even further.
Our success benefits you.
Really? I suppose it's an opportunity for a Champions League spot, but it will be at the detriment to your league campaign. There are so many examples of that happening. We'll end up getting Europa anyway, Spurs are worse than us.
Besides I want us to be in Europa next year anyway.
We should lose.
1 - Moyes, do one.
2 - It will help Everton get 4th which will help us get back to the CL quicker. If Arsenal don't get top 4 they're fucked.
Having a big squad helps. Would play the 2nd team, they should be able to get past the group stages and depending on the draw, last 16. After that play the first team in the rest.Really? Anyway, you won't win it with Moyes in charge.

It's another route in and another trophy to win - there is no guarantee we will get top 4 next year, can't be picky.Really? I suppose it's an opportunity for a Champions League spot, but it will be at the detriment to your league campaign. There are so many examples of that happening.

It's not ideal but we have 25+ players.Europa league is death to your domestic campaign. It's not prestigious enough to keep players content in a rotation system, and the competition you'll be against, who have CL games, will be fresher toward the weekend PL fixtures.
Like TC said, I only way back in to the champions league is through Europa with Moyes still at hand.
They should bring back the Cup Winners' Cup.
What B-Rod has done with Liverpool in such a short space of time is nothing short of remarkable. He has got a team that were mid-table last year to title challengers, playing fantastic football.
I also like that Rodgers has evolved as a coach, coming from Swansea with their possession-style play (in fairness, Martinez set the style) and going to Liverpool where he has them playing like Dortmund or Atletico, attractive, counter-attacking football. Nice to see a British coach be up there
why? I'd imagine winning the EL is a more difficult proposition than getting back into the top 4. Moyes has never shown a particular aptitude towards being a cup specialist but has at least shown that he can get relatively strong results in the league with Everton.
the Europa League is a fucking killer of league campaigns. it's not just the absurd number of fixtures, it's the weird Thursday timetable. I don't care how large your squad is (see: Spurs, both AVB seasons), it is guaranteed to do more harm than good. at the very least, it becomes a choice of how you want to allocate resources: and I think betting on the league campaign is a much safer bet.

I don't think Atletico play that nice a style. It's fun but mostly cos they're underdogs. What B-Rod has done with Liverpool in such a short space of time is nothing short of remarkable. He has got a team that were mid-table last year to title challengers, playing fantastic football.

So the season after next, could one country have 6 teams in the Champions League group stages?
For example:
1st: Chelsea
2nd: City
3rd: Arsenal
4th: Everton
5th: Liverpool - Champions League Winners
6th: United - Europa League Winners
I wouldn't respect Brendan purely because of his size. How the fuck would I be able to take such a little angry man seriously? Would try to get him on my good side though so we could make some bootleg Austin Power movies together, we would sing somebody that I used to know in one of the muscial moments in the movies.
Fake edit : FREEWHEELING THAT'S A BANNED WORD
