Yup. Sky commentators then when it cut to John Henry then. "This is his first trophy as owner of Liverpool".

If I was him I'd demand top 4 too with the money spent & squandered on shite, average players such as Henderson, Downing and Carroll.

And yeah of course it is worth praise. But it needs to be kept in context. Top 4 is so much more important for Liverpool in the long run. Everyone loves a day at Wembley, but if you asked the owner 9/10 he would prefer top 4. And surely the good times at Anfield were the finals of the Champions League, not the League Cup.

All I mean is that in the long run, if Liverpool want to compete for the league again which they surely do, they need top 4 to attract the next quality of player. Just like City needed top 4. I don't think Aguero would have come if we didn't get top 4.
