Same. Game doesn't look so good for me on 360 now. I blame all my losses to my friends on that.
 
We have an entire week of chatting about FIFA, for it is international week. And not a single fuck will be given this week.

How's the online experience compared to consoles? I might double-dip if EA deals it. Because it is on Steam, right?

It's not. Instead you will have to use the fucking terrible origin, which auth servers were down 2 days in a row the other day when I wanted to play battlefield 3.

Rather nice, done about 400 ranked games and a few private games with friends. Laggy games here and there, but that's the usual stuff.

Hmm. Damn, no matter what difficulty I play I rarely score on crosses. Pretty high now and my strikers are without chance in the air. I have it on Manual, could that mess things up?

Playing career, have Lukaku (85+) who should be strong in the air. Don't remember his heading stats atm.

+1 for Master race, no other alternative for me. Hopefully they don't mess it up in the future.

Usually I score from crosses holding LT pressed while tapping the shoot button (LT is for "air tricks") so usually I can anticipate the defender.

When crossing I always use the XX cross (pressing two times so I won't have to beat the defender in height) or the triple X cross, so the defender will hopefully give me a corner or bump in the ball and who knows what's after.
 
For me, with crosses I rarely score if the box is crowded. You can get goals on the break or by sending your winger past the keeper and doing a cut-back by using a grounded cross. Near post crosses also give me better luck than far.

I also changed my team tactics to have the chances from crosses super high. Causes strikers to get into position.

I've found that as soon as I cross I just start jamming 'b' until the guy heads it. don't worry about timing it up.

Football GAF, I have a non football question. American's can be of most help. :P I am going to your country on June 5th (Yay) I like movies, I like IMAX movies. I would like to see Avengers in IMAX. What are the chances of Avengers being in the cinemas (specifically IMAX) 4 weeks after its released if its only other competiton is Men in black 3. I am assuming slim :( but its worth asking.

Also another equally shit question, will Pixars Brave be in IMAX or just 2d/3d.

Incase you are wondering and if it helps I am going to Orlando, and the IMAX theater is in Universal there...

Edit: Why am I so hyped for IMAX? Ireland has none, because we are a crap nation. I seen Inception there 2 years ago, it was glorious. This year I hope to see, Avengers, Brave and Prometheus.

I think if Avengers does big numbers like it probably will you'll have a chance on seeing it. Plus its at Universal which has a deal with Marvel.
 
Winning Eleven 5 and 6 (no idea which PES games they were here) were the best footy games ever.

Bought a Japanese PS2 for WE5, and I wasn't even into football much back then, but god damn that was more than just football. It was GAMING GREATNESS.

Same here. Great online experience with most games running without any lag. Also the amount of rage quitters is much lower than it was on the past 3 versions of FIFA on the 360 but that might be because of the new online seasons mode. It´s funny how the PC version was so terrible in the past but this year it is by far the better version.

THERE'S NOTHING LIKE OLD PES :(

Been trying to get into FIFA12 today with the demo (360) and I just.. I dunno. It moves nicely, but the feel of it is just so unsatisfying. Feels like it's made for people who've only experienced football through the television. I'm trying to convince myself of buying it because I'm so disappointed with the step-back that is PES2012 in PES's return to form, but bah..

I haven't touched PES since but it was better than current FIFA. FIFA is really good, moves like football does on TV, but as a videogame I prefer old PES.

PES was a game anybody could play. Football fan or not, they could pick it up and love it. FIFA doesn't have that attribute IMO.

Played FIFA 12 recently. I can't cope with this game - I am so bad its embarrassing to even remember. It's so difficult to get players to make decent runs, felt stiff; had to fight the controls.
