FAT SAM OUT!

Fuck this, I'm sick of us turning up with a negative formation and getting punished for it, week in, week out. We don't deserve automatic promotion, and if we reach the play-off's we just don't have the passion, belief or strength of character to make it to the final and win.

Is he still playing Cole upfront on his own?

I like Kenny, he's the epitome of just what's so good about the club... but he is tactically naive and his transfers for the most part have been abysmal.

Yep, despite how wildly unsuccessful that tactic has proved to be this season.

O'Neil has been entirely absent too. Get him off the pitch, bring on Baldock, go 4-4-2 with Cole & Maynard up front, instead of playing Nicky out of position AGAIN.

juve's medical team. :O they play at a really high pace too.
Yes, our new award-winning fitness coach is brilliant. And it helps a lot that our pitch is not a potato field.

edit: Oh yeah, and all team is in their 20's :P :P

Gah! I mentioned the 4-4-2 to the Hammers fans at work the other day, about why Fat Sam doesn't just stick to a 4-4-2. You seem to have enough strikers for it.

We've looked very comfortable despite the threat Villa demonstrated on the right on the break. Having said that 2-0 is never a cushion, especially for us.

If Liverpool continue like this they might have trouble getting the players.

Yeah, soon their 'big club' cache is going to run short.

How are they going to compete for players when top 4 clubs are also in for those same players? What can they offer?

Henry has done his big initial spend bit too. Does anybody think he's going to splash that big again?

It's bizarre how things have changed from when he came in, when he outwitted most of the other managers, was never afraid to change things up or to try out new players, suddenly Liverpool this season are stuck without any kind of clear system, selection is just weird and never seems to make sense and as soon as Flanagan made the mistake against Sunderland at the start of the season the youngsters couldn't get a look in.

There hasn't been any big initial spend, Liverpool have only spent about £30million net , which came from profit the club generated anyway.

If there was ever a time to put two fingers up to the senior players for their lack of effort and give the younger lads a go, now would be it.

Coates, Shelvey and Sterling on for Carragher, Downing and Henderson at HT please.

I won't blame him one bit if he doesn't, why would anyone want to give someone dozens of millions of pounds for them to essentially just throw down a drain

Spearing, Henderson, Gerrard and Kuyt having absolute stinkers. Shelvey for Henderson, Carroll for Kuyt.

Complete and utter shite all round so far, don't have tremendously high hopes of it changing after half time. Team seems incapable of playing intelligently, or indeed kicking a bloody ball with a reasonable degree of consistency

For me Downing has been the best attacking player for Liverpool so far, better than the anonymous Kuyt and better even than Suarez, who seems to have trouble staying on his feet today.
