I'm going to miss Luiz, but for someone who's best role last season was as a makeshift defensive midfielder, I'd rather have the money and buy a proper one.

Cahill is going to be the only person remaining from Munich

The good and bad news: No Luiz in PL FUT teams next season. Fucker is just about impossible to beat.. nice having him on my team this year.

Not really different from Dortmund, apart from the money stuff.
Gosh, I wish they would have signed the players already...

Gonna be a damn long summer.
At least Wolfenstein is entertaining and I'm not through FFX HD.

I hope we get Benatia now.

And by the looks of it, sounds like Pep is going to stick with the 3-4-3 he used against Dortmund. That way he can keep Lahm in midfield

Do the owners of psg and Chelsea know each other or something? psg purposely trying to increase Chelsea's FFP threshold. The fee is so barmy that that's literally the only thing that makes sense to me.

@TonyBarretTimes: Liverpool have made a breakthrough in their pursuit of Emre Can & appear to be closing in on a £12m deal for the Germany U-21 international.

telegraph:

Liverpool are closing in on a £12 million deal for Bayer Leverkusen midfielder Emre Can. Brendan Rodgers is hoping to secure Can as his first signing of an active summer in the transfer market.
Can, who plays for Germany Under-21s but is of Turkish descent, has a clause in his contract which Liverpool are ready to activate and it is understood talks have advanced significantly in the last few days.
The 20-year-old moved to Leverkusen, formerly managed by ex-Liverpool captain Sami Hyypia, last season from Bayern Munich for just £4.5 million. Munich placed a buy-back clause of their own but that can not be activated until next summer.
Identifying Can’s potential, Liverpool believe the temptation to move to the Premier League and steal a march on the Bundesliga champions. That would represent quite a coup for Rodgers, recruiting a player tipped to be a future star of German football.
Can is seen as dynamic, box-to-box midfielder in the mould of Sebastian Schweinsteiger, although Leverkusen have spent recent days attempting to convince him his progress would be best served remaining in German football ahead of a potential return to Munich.
Rodgers wants at least five new players this summer, ranging from a back-up goalkeeper, a full-back, attacking midfielder and striker. Can would represent an encouraging start to his recruitment drive.
Liverpool, meanwhile, are planning a lucrative pre-season friendly against Borussia Dortmund next August. The Anfield fixture is pencilled in for August 10, a curtain-raiser to the next Premier League season.

What surprises me the most about that boyband is that they reached the X-Factor finale and came in third. That shit goes by voting. So people spend money on a text message to vote these fellas all the way to the finale.

I knew we were in trouble when I read 'Van Gaal has left a list of targets with Woodward and leaving him to get the deals done'. I bet we sign fuck all.

Would love to be a fly on the wall when LVG walks into Carrington, rubs his hands, asks "right Eddy, who have you signed for me?" and there is only Rooney sitting in a chair, shaved and with a new haircut.
